Our Organization:

What you will do:
As the Manager of Engineering, you will lead multiple engineering teams and be accountable for technical health, delivery, and talent development within the Stores Delivery Common Services domain. Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Manage and lead multiple engineering teams in an Agile/Kanban environment.</li><li>
Partner with global supply chain and store operations teams to deliver technology solutions that improve inventory flow, fulfillment speed, and in-store efficiency.</li><li>
Ensure engineering solutions align with the unique needs of off-price retail, including rapid deployment, cost efficiency, and system scalability.</li><li>

Drive adoption of engineering best practices including CI/CD, automated testing, and secure coding.</li><li>
Ensure operational excellence and accountability for system performance, uptime, and delivery metrics.</li><li>
Act as a key escalation point for technical delivery and production issues.</li><li>

Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>
Typically has 15 years prior experience in systems, business management or related field with at least 5 years leadership experience in technology and systems including HR responsibilities.</li><li>
Strong organizational and team management skills, with experience leading global teams.</li><li>
Proven performance management skills including coaching, goal setting, and accountability.</li><li>
7+ years of experience with enterprise Windows Server and x86 hardware platform management. Including and understanding of AD, Networking, PowerShell and Hardware systems.</li><li>
Experience managing enterprise infrastructure platforms, including Windows Server, Active Directory, and endpoint management tools</li><li>
3+ years of hands-on experience in test planning, execution, and quality assurance processes.</li><li>

<ul><li>Candidate should have a degree in BE / B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics Engineering with around 15 to 20 years of proven work experience as an Engineering Manager or similar role managing Electrical power/Automation Engineering.
</li><li>Analytical skills for evaluating information carefully and solving complex problems.
</li><li>Communication skills for overseeing staff and working with other management personnel. Detail-oriented with the ability to catch minor errors which can result in major problems.
</li><li>Organizational skills for keeping track of various budgets, employees, and schedules simultaneously.
</li><li>Knowledge of SAP system is desirable. Should be a team player for achieving the business KPI with collaboration

Job Description:
Provides management and direction for one of the large Engineering disciplines, or may have a special assignment such as Manager of the Quality Program, or Operations Manager for the department, or Manager over all engineering disciplines on a large job, typically exceeding $250 million in total installed cost.
What You'll Be Doing:
<ul><li>Reviews and approves discipline staffing budget estimates and staffing assignment schedules on each project.
</li><li>Reviews and approves staff forecasting reports.
</li><li>Monitors the quality and progress of the discipline on each project, ensuring that production requirements are satisfied.
</li><li>Works closely with Project Managers to resolve any existing or forecasted problems related to discipline staffing, quality of work, schedule performance or productivity.
</li><li>Establishes standards and procedures manuals for the discipline.
</li><li>Recommends improvements to department procedures.
</li><li>Supports pre-contract and business development efforts as required, serving as technical consultant.
</li><li>Ensures performance within overhead budgets assigned to the discipline.
</li><li>Actively participates in and promotes the Quality Improvement Program. Heads a committee within the discipline, striving to motivate and educate the assigned personnel.
