Job Description
Essential Functions
<ul><li>Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
</li><li>Oversees and performs the recording and production of video and audio programs for teaching, patient care and education, research and other uses as needed.
</li><li>Participates in the production of project outlines and scripts, plans shooting schedules, supervises or performs video recording and post-production duties, contracts for needed outside services or equipment and assists professional and non-professional performers in presenting their material during recording.
</li></ul><ul><li>Responsible for webcasting, including resolving technical issues, the necessary training of staff providing support in these areas, troubleshooting and keeping up with the latest trends and advances in these areas.
</li></ul><ul><li>Provide day to day operational support to the Director, including the management of the department's operations in the Director's absence.
</li></ul><ul><li>Supervises the maintenance of appropriate records, and storing, cataloging, publicizing and issuance of finished products to users.
</li></ul><ul><li>Performs and / or supervises the maintenance of all the Video division&rsquo;s equipment as well as actively assisting the Supervisor of AV Equipment Services in the maintenance and arranging for the repair of AV equipment on campus.
</li></ul><ul><li>Maintain familiarity with the department's administrative processes such as billing and monthly budget reviews, annual report and budget preparation, and provide support to the Director in this area as needed.
</li></ul><ul><li>Actively participate in meetings and projects related to classroom support, infrastructure improvement activities and special projects on campus and be ready to represent the department when needed. Improve interpersonal, presentation and technical skills as needed to accomplish this task.
</li></ul><ul><li>As a senior staff member, participates in working groups and project teams as needed.

The main processes you will be responsible for are printing, lamination, and slitting. Experience in one or all of these will be required. You will be ultimately responsible for the smooth running of all production lines and the quality of output. This second facility has limited pieces of equipment; we will be looking to the candidate to improve and standardize operations to prepare for future growth. We expect you to have deep understanding of production procedures. Ability to direct personnel towards maximum performance will set you apart as a leader. Decision-making and problem-solving will take up a great part of your day. If you are up to it, we&rsquo;d like to talk to you. This is a high visibility position and will have opportunity to work with executive management and ownership of the company.Responsibilities<ul><li>Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines</li><li>Monitor production to resolve issues</li><li>Document and standardize best practices and operating procedures</li><li>Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel</li><li>Help determine amount of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials, etc.)</li><li>Ensure output meets quality standards</li><li>Enforce health and safety precautions</li><li>Communicate and work with Management to formulate objectives and understand requirements.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Experience in the printing industry is required (please do not apply if you do not meet this requirement)</li><li>Knowledge of lamination and or slitting/converting is a plus</li><li>Good opportunity for Supervisor looking to move up to manager</li><li>Some experience in a supervisory role is required</li><li>Understanding of quality standards and health and safety regulations</li><li>Knowledge of performance evaluation</li><li>Experience in reporting on key production metrics</li><li>Proficient in MS Office</li><li>Outstanding communication ability</li><li>Excellent organizational and leaderships skills</li><li>Attention to detail</li><li>Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach</li></ul>Salary will be competitive based upon experience relevant to the job.Job Type: Full-timePay: $95,000.00 - $125,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
