 Reporting to the Director of Communications, this role focuses on building lasting relationships with the alumni community, managing philanthropic giving, and securing external investment. Position Summary

Campus Specific Responsibilities 
<ul><li>
Assist with athletic field maintenance, including layout, striping, event preparation, and equipment setup at the Upper and Middle School campuses.</li> 
<li>
<div>Operate grounds equipment on all campuses (snowblower, salt-spreader, shovel, loaders, cutters, rollers, trenchers) with prior approval.</div></li> 
<li>
<div>Support the lunch program by setting up and clearing tables and managing trash at the Lower School</div></li> 
<li>
Assist with playground equipment repairs at the Lower School</li></ul> 
Qualifications 
<ul><li><div>High School diploma or equivalent.</div></li><li> 
<div>3+ years of general building maintenance experience, preferred.</div></li><li> 
<div>Knowledge and /or experience with basic plumbing, electrical, building construction, groundskeeping, and preventative maintenance.</div></li> 
<li>
<div>Valid Michigan driver's license, required.</div></li> 
<li>
<div>Ability to safely operate small power equipment (tools, vacuum cleaners, floor machines, lawn mowers, leaf blowers, power washers, weed whackers).</div></li> 
<li>
<div>Willingness to take direction and follow through as directed.</div></li> 
<li>
<div>Self-motivated and willing to step in and help out wherever necessary.</div></li></ul> 
<ul><li><div>Ability to work successfully in the presence of children, and ability to work with a diverse group of people at all levels of the organization.</div></li> 
<li>
<div>Good computer skills required, including email and calendars.</div></li> 
<li>
<div>Effective verbal, organizational, troubleshooting, and interpersonal skills.</div></li> 
<li>
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and communicate needs to School Leadership.</li></ul> 
Physical Requirements &amp; Work Environment 
<ul><li><div>Moderate physical effort may be required when performing some maintenance tasks.</div></li> 
<li>
<div>Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 50+ pounds.</div></li> 
<li>
<div>Ability to climb ladders, balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.</div></li></ul> 
<ul><li><div>Work is performed indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.</div></li> 
<li>
Must be able to work around children and in active school environments that may be noisy or crowded at times.</li></ul> 
<div>Work Schedule &amp; Compensation</div>
<div>This is a full-time, non-exempt position working 40 hours per week. Monday through Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. Occasional overtime associated with early morning, evening, and weekend event support and snow management. The pay range for this position is $25.00 per hour minimum, commensurate with experience.
