Responsibilities</b></h2><p>
The <b>Marketing Analytics Manager</b> is a program leader, people manager, and hands-on analyst who sets direction, develops talent, and delivers high impact insights. Key areas of ownership include:</p><p><b>
1) Marketing Measurement &amp; Analytics</b></p><ul><li>
Serve as the analytics lead for paid search, paid media, SEO, and growth marketing.</li><li>
Own the end-to-end measurement strategy across paid and organic channels.</li><li>
Establish best fit approaches for measuring and monitoring channel performance.</li><li>
Lead development of scalable, accurate, and executive-ready reporting and dashboards.

Oversee analytics workflows within a Google Cloud&ndash;based tech stack, including:</li><li>
Google Analytics 360</li><li>
Funnel.io (data ingestion and pipeline management)</li><li>
BigQuery (SQL analysis &amp; data modeling)</li><li>
Looker (semantic layer &amp; visualization)</li><li>
Establish and maintain best practices for SQL, data modeling, and reporting performance.</li><li>
Collaborate with data science on advanced analytics initiatives (e.g., experimentation, forecasting, incrementality, LTV, cohort analysis).</li><li>

Worldwide Grocery Stores (WWGS) is seeking an experienced manager to lead our Marketing Analytics team across Whole Foods Market, Amazon Fresh, and new grocery channels and store formats.

This role will define and execute the analytics strategy that enables data-driven decisions across our growing portfolio of grocery businesses. You will build and scale analytics capabilities to measure marketing effectiveness across all channels including email, push notifications, paid media, organic search, and onsite experiences. You will lead a team managing complex, cross-functional analytics challenges where problems and solutions are not clearly defined. You will navigate ambiguity and define the right problems to solve, balancing short-term tactical needs with long-term strategic investments. You will build a strong, inclusive team where members feel empowered to take ownership and deliver results. You are passionate about creating scalable solutions, automating manual processes, and establishing mechanisms that drive continuous improvement. Key job responsibilities<br>
<ul><li>Lead the WWGS Marketing Analytics team to deliver automated reporting, dashboards, and insights that enable marketing leaders to optimize channel investments and drive customer engagement across Whole Foods Market, Amazon Fresh, and new grocery formats.</li><li>Define and execute the analytics strategy for measuring marketing effectiveness across all channels including email, push notifications, paid media, organic search, and onsite experiences.</li><li>Partner with Marketing, Finance, BIE, and Consumer Insights teams to understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions with clear success criteria.</li><li>Drive the automation of manual reporting processes by partnering with BIE to build data pipelines and self-service dashboards that scale analytics capabilities.</li><li>Deliver automated inputs for Weekly Business Reviews, Monthly Business Reviews, Monthly Performance Reports, and Quarterly Planning Reports that provide marketing leaders with timely, accurate insights on campaign performance and business trends.</li><li>Establish measurement frameworks and analytical standards that ensure consistent, high-quality outputs across all WWGS marketing analytics initiatives.</li><li>Build and maintain dashboards using tools such as QuickSight, Tableau, or similar platforms to enable self-service access to marketing performance metrics.</li><li>Define team goals, allocate resources, and manage project timelines to balance tactical delivery against strategic capability-building.</li><li>Recruit, develop, and retain bar-raising talent with skills in marketing measurement, statistical analysis, data engineering, and business intelligence.</li><li>Provide regular performance feedback, facilitate career development conversations, and create opportunities for team members to grow their skills and advance their careers.</li><li>Present analytical findings and strategic recommendations to Director and VP leaders, influencing marketing investment decisions and strategic priorities.</li><li>Identify opportunities to improve analytical processes, reduce manual work, and eliminate defects through automation, standardization, and quality controls.</li><li>Navigate ambiguity by defining problems, establishing measurement approaches, and making high-judgment trade-offs between competing priorities.</li><li>Foster a culture of inclusion, psychological safety, and continuous learning where team members feel empowered to contribute ideas and challenge assumptions.</li></ul></div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS</b></h2><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, Business, or a related quantitative field</li><li>5+ years of business analyst, data analyst or an equivalent role experience</li><li>Experience in management directly</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
