The Reeve Foundation is a pioneer in the field of spinal cord injury (SCI) research and has funded $147+ million in the laboratories of key thought leaders around the world. The Foundation is committed to building on the findings of decades of research and developing therapies that bring meaningful solutions to people with SCI. Its National Paralysis Resource Center (NPRC) provides the most comprehensive knowledge, tools, and services for individuals impacted by paralysis through dedicated Information Specialists, a substantial Quality of Life Grants Program, Peer &amp; Family Support Program, Military and Veterans Program, Advocacy program and more.
About the Role
We seek an engagement with a Marketing &amp; Communications Coordinator.
This fixed-term independent contractor will help facilitate programmatic and fundraising communications, marketing content and outreach, digital communications, brand awareness, media relations, etc. This position is responsible for information gathering and creative development of marcomms collateral. In addition, this position will provide some administrative support (e.g., social media scheduling, editorial calendars, CRM content input, etc.). The Coordinator will work across departments, content creators and with vendors to support our programs/services and grow the Foundation&rsquo;s visibility and impact.
This contract engagement will be offered to an independent contractor for a period of approximately 3 months with the possibility for conversion to Full Time staff.
Major Responsibilities<ul><li>
Support implementation of media strategies to raise awareness of our nonprofit organization's mission, programs, and initiatives; evaluate campaign results.</li><li>
Serve as a coordinator of the Foundation&rsquo;s social media properties, helping with content planning, scheduling, monitoring engagement and coordinating responses to questions/comments.</li><li>
Maintain and update Marketing-Communications editorial calendar.</li><li>
Support the day-to-day maintenance of and monitoring social media; work with the Digital Director and others to analyze digital media performance metrics and compile regular reports on key metrics, trends, and insights to drive improvements and measure success.</li><li>
Utilize web-based tools (e.g. Sprout Social, HubSpot) to support digital marketing efforts.</li><li>
Collaborate cross-departmentally and with external vendors and agencies on larger projects, including marketing/conference campaigns and collateral, publications such as our annual impact report, media outreach and coordination, and more.</li><li>
Lend editorial assistance to produce compelling content for community outreach.</li><li>
Maintain and update database of community influencers, ambassadors, bloggers and other community partners. Support partner content development.</li><li>

Hubbard House seeks an experienced Marketing Coordinator to work with a dynamic, professional team focused on communications, fundraising, and raising awareness of Hubbard House.
Working closely with the Development and Community Education Departments, the Marketing Coordinator oversees and implements several key areas of Hubbard House&rsquo;s communications strategy. The Marketing Coordinator specifically deals with media relations, advertising, brand design, graphic design, and multi-media projects. The Marketing Coordinator also collaborates with other team members on social media content, as designated, and liaises with contract/specialized support in defined areas.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor&rsquo;s degree in communications, marketing, or related field (equivalent experience considered). Three years of experience in communications, media relations, or marketing preferred. Experience with Canva and the Adobe Creative suite is preferred. This position is in-person and not remote eligible. The schedule is primarily weekday business hours, however the Marketing Coordinator must be flexible to occasionally work evenings and weekends to attend events, media engagements, etc.
The position requires a clear communicator, both verbal and written, and someone with high standards around work ethic, collaboration, organization and detail.
Hubbard House was founded as the first domestic violence shelter in Florida and is the certified domestic violence center serving Duval and Baker counties in Northeast Florida. Hubbard House has nearly 50 years of experience serving victims of domestic violence through residential and outreach programs. With an annual operating budget of $10 million, Hubbard House serves approximately 5,000 women, children and men annually.
