About Our Role:
The Senior Marketing Designer will report directly to the Marketing Manager. This role is full-time and on-site five days a week in our Burr Ridge, IL office with additional travel to our satellite locations in Houston, Phoenix, Portland, and Virginia, and occasional trade show travel to varied locations nationwide.
What You Will Do:

</li></ul><ul><li>Create and maintain marketing assets across digital, print, and trade show channels while ensuring consistency with A-Rent's brand standards and guidelines
</li></ul><ul><li>Create graphics and content for LinkedIn, email marketing campaigns, paid ad campaigns, newsletters, and webpages
</li></ul><ul><li>Support video marketing initiatives through video ideation, copywriting, short form content creation, video editing, and posting
</li></ul><ul><li>Update website content, including product pages, category pages, landing pages, and digital assets through our internal Content Management System (CMS)
</li></ul><ul><li>Design and maintain trade show booth graphics, banners, signage, promotional materials, and event displays
</li></ul><ul><li>Coordinate event materials, shipping, promotional items, and vendor relationships
</li></ul><ul><li>Support Sales, Human Resources, and internal communication initiatives through photography, graphics, presentations, and newsletter development
</li></ul><ul><li>Support Operations and Calibration teams by designing, producing, and managing branded operational assets, like stickers, labels, packing tape, and more
</li></ul><ul><li>Design and maintain employee apparel, promotional products, and branded merchandise
</li></ul><ul><li>Manage relationships with printing, promotional, apparel, and marketing vendors
</li></ul><ul><li>Maintain marketing asset libraries, project trackers, and marketing documentation

About the Role</h2>

Updater is seeking a strategic, highly creative, and execution-oriented Senior Marketing Designer to help define how our products, platform, and brand are understood in the market.

As Updater expands its suite of products that power internet, TV, phone, home security, moving services, and other services consumers rely on during major life moments, we face a unique challenge: many of these products operate behind the scenes and lack traditional user interfaces or visual experiences. This role will be responsible for bringing those products to life through compelling visual storytelling, conceptual design, and scalable brand experiences.

This is a part-time contract position ideal for an experienced designer who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys solving complex communication challenges, and wants to make a meaningful impact with flexibility and autonomy. You'll work closely with Marketing, Product Marketing, Product, Sales, and Leadership to shape some of Updater's most visible and strategic initiatives.

This is not a production design role. We are looking for a strategic B2B designer who can simplify complex concepts, create compelling marketing experiences, and help evolve Updater's brand as we continue our transformation into an enterprise platform.
