If you are located in MN, you will follow a hybrid schedule with four in-office days per week. 
Primary Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Drive growth in Optum Financial, specifically the Bank of Healthcare vertical, through consistent and rigorous evaluation of new and evolving growth ideas in partnership with product and technology teams</li><li>
Translate complex technical and product concepts into clear, actionable financial models that inform investment decisions and strategic planning</li><li>
Own the development and effectiveness of cost-benefit analyses (CBAs), by collaborating cross-functionally to gather inputs, challenge assumptions, and drive clarity in financial narratives.</li><li>
Deliver concise, insight-driven updates to senior leadership that highlights key financial levers and trade-offs to support agile decision-making</li><li>
Serve as a finance liaison to LOB's operators, ops, product, and tech teams &agrave; helping bridge business strategy with financial execution</li><li>
The finance needs within the Bank of Healthcare are varied and evolving, this individual will need to be comfortable flexing across numerous functions and R&amp;R's as needs emerge</li></ul>

Required Qualifications:<ul><li>
BS/BA degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field</li><li>
3+ years of experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and business case development</li><li>
Experience in corporate development, M&amp;A or consulting industry</li><li>
Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling tools</li><li>
Proven ability to work across diverse business areas and translate non-financial inputs into financial frameworks</li><li>
Proven solid communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts for varied audiences</li></ul> 
Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>
Experience supporting business leaders, product and/or technology teams</li><li>
Familiarity with cost-benefit analysis frameworks, investment evaluation, and capital management</li><li>
Experience with agile or iterative development environments</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and synthesize ambiguous inputs</li><li>
Ability to be a self-starter with a collaborative mindset and a desire to influence strategic outcomes</li></ul> 
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
