Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Research &amp; Intelligence<ul><li>
Conduct market, competitor, and consumer research to inform campaign strategy and positioning across our multifamily, self-storage, manufactured housing, and retail portfolios</li><li>
Gather and compile performance data from ILS platforms (Apartments.com, Zillow, etc.), social media, Google Analytics, and other sources into usable reports</li><li>
Track local real estate trends, new development activity, and demographic shifts relevant to our markets</li><li>
Monitor and summarize industry news, marketing trends, and best practices across the real estate and property management space</li></ul>
Cross-Functional Coordination<ul><li>
Serve as a bridge between marketing and our leasing, construction, manufactured housing, maintenance, and executive teams &mdash; gathering information, relaying updates, and ensuring campaigns stay aligned with ground-level realities</li><li>
Help document institutional knowledge from ongoing development launches, leasing initiatives, and new community openings</li><li>
Assist in coordinating vendor relationships &mdash; photographers, designers, signage companies, media partners &mdash; keeping projects on track and on budget</li></ul>
Data &amp; Storytelling<ul><li>
Pull and organize data from multiple sources to help tell the story of our marketing performance</li><li>
Assist in building simple dashboards, reports, or presentations that translate numbers into actionable insights for leadership</li><li>
Support our review management efforts across platforms, helping track sentiment and escalate issues as needed</li></ul>
Education and/or Experience Qualifications<ul><li>
Recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, or a related field &mdash; or have 1&ndash;3 years of experience in a busy marketing, advertising, or real estate environment</li><li>
Are genuinely resourceful: when you don't know something, you figure it out</li><li>
Are a strong communicator &mdash; comfortable writing clearly, asking good questions, and following up without being asked</li><li>
Love digging into data and have a knack for making numbers tell a story</li><li>

A good researcher should have familiarity with records requests, know where to dig up Census figures or campaign contributions, and be able to turn around a handy visualization quickly.
