   Campus-Wide Operations: Manage heating and cooling systems for all campus buildings and apartments, including 500+ residential units.
  </li>
  <li>
   Specialized Refrigeration: Maintain industrial and commercial units like walk-in freezers, ice cream machines, pony chillers, and reach-in coolers.
  </li>
  <li>
   Mechanical Repairs: Perform expert-level repair and replacement of compressors, motors, pumps, bearings, seals, and gaskets.
  </li>
  <li>
   System Maintenance: Clean and service evaporator/condensate coils, tubes, and fan coil units (over 2,000 units on site).
  </li>
  <li>
   Electrical Troubleshooting: Diagnose electrical issues, check and adjust controls, and handle the installation of control wiring.

   Chemical Treatment: Adjust solution charges in absorption chillers and manage the addition of inhibitors and alcohol as required.

   Infrastructure Support: Repair water and drain leaks and handle piping, ductwork, and cooling tower maintenance.

Shop Mechanic - Las Vegas

<div><p>We are looking for a <b>Yellow Iron Mechanic</b> to join our team in <b>Dennison, TX</b>. As a <b>Yellow Iron</b> Mechanic with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials, you will be responsible for maintenance and servicing of yellow iron equipment with or without direction from the Maintenance Supervisor or Head Mechanic.</p>

Key Responsibilities:</b></p>
<p><b>
Maintenance &amp; Repair</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Diagnose and repair engine, hydraulic, electrical, cooling, fuel, and drive train systems.</li>
<li>Service and rebuild components such as: Hydraulic cylinders (boom, stick, bucket), Pumps and motors, Final drives, Swing bearings, Radiators, coolers, and aftercoolers, DEF/NRS systems, Undercarriage</li>
<li>Perform scheduled Preventative Maintenance (PMs) following OEM and company standards.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot fault codes using CAT ET or similar diagnostic software.</li>
<li>Identify root causes of repeated failures and report them to the Equipment Manager.</li>
<li>Perform welding and fabrication as needed (pins, bushings, brackets, guards).</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Field Service</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Respond to breakdowns on active jobsites (aggregate pits, construction sites, etc.).</li>
<li>Safely perform field diagnostics and repairs with minimal downtime.</li>
<li>Communicate equipment status and ETA on repairs.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Documentation &amp; Communication</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Complete accurate service reports and work orders.</li>
<li>Track parts usage, labor hours, and service notes.</li>
<li>Relay equipment needs, operator issues, or safety concerns.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Safety</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Follow all safety guidelines including <b>Lockout/Tagout</b> and 360&deg; walkaround inspections.</li>
<li>Maintain a clean, organized service truck and shop area.</li>
<li>Report unsafe conditions immediately.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>About You</b></p>
<p><b>
We Require:</b></p>
<ul>
<li><b>Experience:</b>
<ul><li>1+ years heavy equipment/yellow iron mechanic experience (preferred).</li>
<li>Strong understanding of Caterpillar, Komatsu, or John Deere equipment.</li>
<li>Proficient with hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting.</li>
</ul></li><li><b>Technical Skills:</b>
<ul><li>Ability to read equipment schematics and parts diagrams.</li>
<li>Welding and fabrication experience preferred.</li>
<li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license; CDL is a plus.</li>
<li>Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work in outdoor jobsite conditions.</li>
