Job Description 
Material Handler - 2nd Shift (approx. 3:00pm to 11:00pm) starting at $18 per hour, plus a $2 per hour premium shift differential!
Responsibilities:<ul><li>
May feed, remove, flex, jog, and stack printed sheets, folded signatures, labels, or other in-process product to and from the equipment in the area assigned</li><li>
Load and unloads materials onto pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand</li><li>
May load materials into trucks and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit, using hand tools</li><li>
Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area, using hand truck, electric dolly, or other device</li><li>
Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet</li><li>
Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers</li><li>

Qualifications

Basic knowledge of shrink-wrap equipment</li><li>

Additional Information 
Position Hours: 2nd shift (approx. 3:00pm to 11:00pm). Qualified candidates must be able to work afternoon and evening hours. There is a $2.00 per hour premium shift differential.
The pay range for this role at the noted location is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to education, skills, experience, proficient, performance, shift, and location. In addition to the base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include a sign-on bonus, overtime, shift differential, call-in and stand-by pay. Position Summary<div>
The Material Handler is responsible for handling all incoming materials and packaging supplies from point of receipt to movement throughout warehouse locations in accordance with GMP and safety standards (i.e. MSDS, OSHA, etc.). Accurately label both raw materials and finished goods with appropriate documentation. Proper planning is also required to review requirements and replenish materials in warehouse/production staging areas and transfer and prepare finished goods for shipment. This position may be exposed to hazardous materials and will have access to extremely confidential information.

<ul><li>Fills requisitions for shipments to customers and receives materials from suppliers.</li></ul></div><ul><li>Reviews, evaluates and manages material requirements report and replenishes materials in the warehouse/production staging areas.</li><li>Receives and transfers raw materials, packaging supplies, finished goods, and other miscellaneous supplies throughout the warehouse, site and the organization.</li><li>Properly documents material receipts, transfers, shipments and labelling according to GMP procedures.</li><li>Accurately labels raw materials and finished goods to be shipped in accordance with GMP.</li><li>Correctly transfers materials and loads trailer for shipments to internal and external customers.</li><li>Properly records adjustments, receipt, and transfer of materials.</li><li>Performs general cleaning and maintenance tasks such as trash removal, floor sweeping, mopping, etc. to maintain a neat and orderly warehouse environment.</li><li>Serves as site support (i.e. logistics, production, maintenance, etc.) as needed.</li><li>Properly disposes of and stores waste, in accordance with local laws/MSDS/OSHA, as needed.</li><li>Required to operate material handling equipment, such as intra-site vehicles, fork truck, hand truck, stretch wrapper, and lift/push/pull heavy materials and supplies.</li></ul>
Minimum Qualifications<ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years&rsquo; experience in GMP manufacturing warehouse environment required.</li><li>Strong communication skills required with the ability to read, retain, and assist in development of procedures.</li><li>Must be self-motivated and be able to perform at a high standard with little supervision.</li><li>Must excel in attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>The physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, push/pull up to 1000 lbs. is required.</li><li>Must have a valid driver&rsquo;s license.</li><li>Knowledge/Understanding of Process Flow Mapping, JIT, and FIFO.</li></ul>
