<ul><li>2 to 5 years' experience
</li><li>Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
</li><li>Ability to operate all forklift or other equipment to transport materials
</li><li>Ability to learn and use problem solving tools in everyday work
</li><li>Previous experience coaching and training other employees
</li><li>Experience leading and forming teams
</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:
<ul><li>Previous experience and ability to operate a forklift or other equipment to transport materials
</li><li>Ability to enter/maintain/transact materials in company ERP program
</li></ul>Essential Duties:
<ul><li>Work under general supervision with well-defined tasks while following company procedures, processes, and policies.
</li><li>Participates in metric boards measuring Safety, Quality, CI, and Productivity and work is reviewed for accuracy.
</li><li>Complete and retain all required training
</li><li>May resolve problems with assistance from peers or supervisors depending on the level and complexity. Follows defined procedures and practices.
</li><li>Contacts are typically with immediate supervisor and other members of the team in the immediate organization.
</li><li>Participate in 5S programs that are based on visual control to determine if an area is normal or abnormal. If abnormal, fix the area immediately.
</li><li>Complete forklift daily per procedure
</li><li>Good attendance is expected per policy
</li></ul>Level of Independence:
<ul><li>Report to Materials Supervisor and will take direction from the Materials Leads.
</li></ul>Physical Demands : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 - 50 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
