The Material Handler is responsible for ensuring timely delivery of raw materials to production lines, efficient collection of waste, and overall support to packing operations. This role ensures there is a clean, organized, and safe environment. The Material Handler works closely with the Team Lead and is expected to proactively identify issues, resolve inefficiencies, and recommend performance improvements.</p><p><b><br>
RESPONSIBILITIES</b></p><ul><li><p>
1 25% Ability to work with the line supervisor and other management to identify and pull the correct raw product.<br>

 Material Handlers perform manual and clerical duties related to storing, issuing, and delivering materials/supplies and moves product between Production departments.

 <ul>
  <li>
   Able to execute standard work independently.
  </li>
  <li>
   Able to setup and operate Value Stream workstation.
  </li>
  <li>
   Issue, deliver, and move material for the production of company products independently.
  </li>
  <li>
   Store materials in bins, in racks, or on shelves according to identifying information independently.
  </li>
  <li>
   Operate material handling equipment such as powered industrial trucks, pallet jacks, etc., as trained, to assist in the issuing, storage, and movement of materials independently.
  </li>
  <li>
   Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
  </li>
  <li>
   Execute standard work with a high degree of quality and near zero quality discrepancies.
  </li>
  <li>
   Execute standard work to meet efficiency standards on all tasks.
  </li>
  <li>
   Assess and resolve simple problems in execution of standard work with support from others on complex tasks.
  </li>
  <li>
   Other duties as assigned.

  Requirements For Consideration

 <ul>
  <li>
   High school diploma or equivalent.
  </li>
  <li>
   3-5 years of Receiving and Shipping experience.
  </li>
  <li>
   Standing, Stooping, Kneeling, and Walking.
  </li>
  <li>
   Occasional standing for long periods of time.
  </li>
  <li>
   Lifting (regularly up to 50 lbs.).
  </li>
  <li>
   Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision and depth perception.
  </li>
  <li>
   Frequent standing, lifting, and walking with up to 50 lbs.
  </li>
  <li>
   Most work completed at a work bench or station.
  </li>
  <li>
   Ability to read and write in English.
  </li>
  <li>
   Basic computer literacy using Microsoft Windows.
  </li>
  <li>
   Basic math skills and ability to use basic measurement equipment (ruler, scale, calipers, tape measure).
