Summary:

Using a forklift truck to perform a combination of material handling to stack, transport and move finished goods product. Responsible for loading and unloading trucks and assisting drivers with correct dispatch information. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Operate forklift by moving levers, controls, hoists, and/or clamp attachment, to ensure timely and accurate receiving, scanning, loading/unloading, stacking, stocking, transportation and delivery of materials or finished product.</li>

 ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

 <li>
 Achieve or exceed picking, receiving, loading performance objectives.&nbsp;
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Maximize productivity by receiving materials and ensuring they are recorded and placed in the assigned warehouse location accurately.&nbsp;
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Accurately pick and fill orders to ensure customer receives the correct item and quantity.&nbsp;
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Inspect products for damage.
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Check pick sheets to ensure all materials are properly selected and staged for loading.&nbsp;
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Make note of any discrepancies with products or workflow and report to a manager.&nbsp;
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Load trailers in accordance with proper weight charts.&nbsp;
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Build and assemble products by customer using load sheets.
 
 &nbsp;
 
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Maintain a safe and clean work area and exhibit a &ldquo;Customer First&rdquo; attitude at all times. &nbsp;&nbsp;
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Perform regular safety checks on machines and other PPE equipment. &nbsp;
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Ensure all trailers/trucks are properly chocked and safety devices are engaged prior to entering a vehicle for unloading. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Ensure all equipment is properly stored and charged when needed at shift end.
 </li>
 
 <li>
 The willingness and demonstrated ability to cooperate, work and communicate with coworkers, supervisors, subordinates and/or outside contacts.&nbsp;
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Follow established processes and procedures, while paying attention to details.
 </li>

 MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 
 <li>
 High School Diploma or equivalent&nbsp;
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Previous warehouse experience strongly preferred &nbsp;
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Experience operating a forklift strongly preferred
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Must have the ability to lift and manage heavy objects, may be up to 80lbs&nbsp;
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Must have basic computer, reading, writing and math skills
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Good organizational and time management skills
 </li>
