Collection Maintenance
</b></p><ul><li>Collaborates to design and implement the workflows for various projects to be performed in order to maintain the book stacks in non-Norlin locations, including transfer projects and shifting. Plan and lead projects to address the physical maintenance of collections - dusting, vacuuming, coordinating repairs and replacements for damaged shelving, coordinating collection shifting, updating call number signage, and conducting regular inventory and shelf reading projects.</li></ul><p><b>
Collaborate with Unit, Department, Division members and Other Partners
</b></p><ul><li>Create and maintain relationships with the Branch Operations Managers at each of the non-Norlin locations. This is crucial to carrying out materials projects. Actively participate in/contribute to unit, department, division, Libraries and other relevant meetings. Manage recommendations for improvements to stacks and materials maintenance as necessary. The Material Requisition Coordinator is responsible for sending out material requests, monitoring all material requests and returns, verification of materials, and making accurate transfers in the system.</p><p><br>
</p><p><b>Duties and Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>
Material requests and accurate accounts of records</li><li>
Work cross functionally with all teams to build robust process</li><li>
Perform trainings for employees including:<ul><li>
New Hire Orientation</li><li>
Submitting returns</li><li>
Scanning materials into IMS</li><li>
Audits &ndash; SQF, etc. and document all trainings</li></ul></li><li>
Adheres to all policies and procedures relating to FIFO, FEFO, HOLDS, and Expiry of materials</li><li>
Review schedule 48 hours in advance and build 48-hour plan</li><li>
Verify materials have arrived for production for the next shift</li><li>
Inventory materials on hand and ensure only 4 hours of materials on the floor at a time</li><li>
Model and support the CandyCo Safety Culture and strive for 100% safety compliance</li><li>

Material Requisition Coordinator

<div><p>The Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing receipts of materials, cycle counts/physical inventory, tracking all materials transferred to construction/O&amp;M, and completing viewpoint transactions associated with warehouse duties.</p>
<p><b>
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
</b></p><ul><li>Work alongside the Traffic Coordinator to obtain schedules for all inbound shipments.</li>
<li>Enforce conformance of truck drivers in the areas of proper documentation, required PPE, condition of goods on the trucks, and arrival during assigned delivery appointment. Accept or reject as needed to support Strata policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Obtain a physical count of materials incoming from Suppliers.</li>
<li>Ensure receiving paperwork matches the materials that are being delivered on each truckload and notate any non-conformances on the paperwork before signing them.</li>
<li>Receive quantities into the perpetual inventory system (Viewpoint).</li>
<li>Scan and properly label all proof of delivery documentation: BOL&rsquo;s, Manifests, Packing Slips into Viewpoint.</li>
<li>Perform cycle counts (weekly) and Physical Inventory counts (monthly), or as otherwise scheduled.</li>
<li>Communicate trucking issues (late shipments, unexpected truck quantities) to the Corporate Logistics team.</li>
<li>Prepare and maintain inventory monitoring reports and communicate consistently with Corporate Logistics/Purchasing Teams and warehouse manager.</li>
<li>Ensure the Material Pull List is completed and transacted within viewpoint.</li>
<li>Ensure all transactions are completed within viewpoint within the same day they are physically performed.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
</li></ul><p><b>Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
</b></p><ul><li>2+ years of inventory experience.</li>
<li>Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills</li>
<li>Detail-oriented with demonstrated ability for accuracy.</li>
<li>Must be able to interact well with others in multiple positions.</li>
<li>Must be a safety conscious individual and able to adhere to company safety standards.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
</b></p><p>Work is performed in a warehouse/field environment. May be required to drive company vehicle when delivering material, must have a valid driver&rsquo;s license with clean driving record. Ability to lifting up to 50 lbs., twist, bend and stand for more than 1 hour. Overtime may be necessary, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.</p><br>
