<div>The Material Handler / Machine Saw Operator will safely operate forklifts, side loaders and other industrial equipment to move raw metal materials from inventory to metal-cutting cells. This is a great opportunity for someone with material handling with entry level machine operation experience to learn and become proficient with various saw cutting machines (including plate, band and shear industrial saws).</div>
<div></div><div><b>CORE JOB DUTIES</b></div>
<ul><li>Ensures orderly distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies to other cells, and staging finished product for distribution.</li>
<li>Inspect cut material for accuracy and defects using measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, pin-gauges, etc.)</li>
<li>Contributes to the orderly operation of stock and/or materials storage area.</li>
<li>Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages.</li>
</ul><div><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b></div>
<ul><li>High School Diploma or GED (preferred)</li>
<li>Basic math and mechanical skills</li>
<li>Experience with measurement hand tools such as micrometers and calipers</li>
<li>1 + years&rsquo; experience operating a forklift</li>
<li>1 + years' experience working on a saw machine, or other industrial machinery</li>
<li>1 + year of experience working in a warehouse, production, distribution or manufacturing environment</li>

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, load, unload, and organize materials throughout the production and warehouse areas.
