Tesla has an outstanding opportunity available for a Fire and Emergency Services Technician. During the assigned shift, the Fire &amp; Emergency Services Technician is responsible for responding to fire, medical, technical rescue, and hazardous material related emergencies. The Fire &amp; Emergency Services Technician will support assigned site daily operations, public education and safety training and support cross functional teams as required.</div><br>

What You'll Do</b><div><ul><li>
Respond to emergencies at Tesla properties and effectively minimize losses through fire prevention, fire suppression, emergency medical services, hazardous materials mitigation, technical rescue standby&rsquo;s/responses and any other emergency situations that occur<br>

Provide basic/advanced life support during medical emergencies associated with trauma, chemical exposure, or medical emergencies<br>
</li><li>
Collaborate with On Site Medical (OSM) team to ensure the best possible patient care and outcome, support On Site Medical staff augmentation as required<br>
</li><li>
Support stakeholders with emergency action plans, emergency drills, and emergency communication<br>
</li><li>
Provide detailed verbal, written, and computer reports pertaining to condition and care of patients and incident reports as required<br>
</li><li>
Support fire and life safety inspections. Support EHS Specialists with safety concerns and assist with coordination of safety supplies (first aid kits, eyewash stations, etc.)<br>

The Industrial Fire Captain oversees activities including fire suppression, emergency medical incidents, hazardous materials spills and other emergency incident calls and supervises a fire crew to ensure safety. The Industrial Fire Captain provides assistance to the Clients Health, Safety and Environment division.</p>

<li>Manages the day-to-day operation and maintenance of a fire station and the apparatus and personnel assigned to that station.</li>

<li>May serve in the capacity of incident commander at emergency incidents.</li>

<li>NFPA 1021 Fire Officer I (State, PROBOARD, IFSAC or equivalent) preferred, Experience as a Fire Officer is required</li>
<li>Must have NIMS 100, 200, 700, and 800</li>
<li>Must be certified as an Emergency Medical Technician at time of hire and must maintain this certification throughout term of employment</li>
<li>Valid driver license with acceptable driving record in accordance with company policy.</li>
<li>Must have AHA CPR/AED</li>
