This position is for a highly motivated individual who is interested in taking on a leading role in project coordination while also performing production design and drafting tasks on industrial power distribution and generation projects.
The successful candidate in this position will collaborate with a team of multi-discipline engineers and designers to develop comprehensive mechanical design documents for Combined Heat &amp; Power (CHP) plants, campus and/or district energy systems, municipal scale power generation facilities and renewable energy facilities. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for the creation of plant layout and installation drawings for mechanical equipment and process systems. The role requires in-depth knowledge of industrial process piping and ductwork design, equipment layout, and the ability to coordinate design development with other disciplines.
The role also requires an extensive understanding of drawing development and graphic information presentation, experience with conceptualizing a complete set of design documents for a project, and a proven ability to identify and convey the salient design points required by contractors who will utilize these drawings to build new facilities.

Pay Range:
