<li>Design HVAC and mechanical systems (air distribution, hydronic systems, central plant connections, pressurization, and related medical gas interfaces), including load calculations, equipment sizing, layouts, narratives, drawings, and specifications.</li>
<li>Coordinate mechanical designs in BIM (Revit) with architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, and technology disciplines to produce fully coordinated construction documents.
</li><li>Perform field surveys and site investigations to document existing conditions and inform renovation or expansion work.</li>
<li>Support energy and system comparison studies and life‑cycle cost evaluations in collaboration with senior staff.</li>
<li>Assist with construction administration, including review of submittals and RFIs and participation in site observations and punch lists.</li>

Description 
 
In this role you will partner with multi-functional teams such as electrical, optical, embedded firmware, and software algorithm engineers to realize mechanical designs that integrate new technologies into systems for early-stage data collection. You will assist in setting technical requirements, defining specifications, design detailing, prototyping, fabrication, and owning the mechanical build process of low volume system manufacturing&quot;,&quot;responsibilities&quot;:&quot;Developing mechanical design of systems using 3D CAD, ensuring robustness and manufacturability. 
 
Creating and evaluate proof-of-concepts, working with machine shops and driving vendors for fabrication

Preferred Qualifications 
 
Understanding of real-world manufacturing and quality control processes including IQC, IPQC, tolerance analysis, DFM/DFA, and GD&amp;T. 
 
Fluent in Siemens NX and familiarity with flexible and rigid printed circuit boards design, fabrication and assembly. 
 
Experience with thermal management, and optical, force, touch sensing technologies is a plus. 
 
Hands-on experience integrating electronics, sensors and cameras to satisfy challenging packaging constraints. 
 
MS in mechanical engineering with proven industry or internship experience. 
 
Minimum Qualifications

Pay &amp; Benefits 
 
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $120,300 and $181,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Job Description Mechanical Design EngineerCompany: Global Engineering ServicesPosition Title: Mechanical Design Engineer Location: Gulberg 3, Lahore, Pakistan Education: Bachelors in Mechanical or Mechatronics EngineeringWorking Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Monday to Friday)Position overview: Coordination and collaboration with multi-disciplinary engineering teams for the development of electronic products with the help CAD &amp; CAE software.The job mainly requires intense R&amp;D, design, documentation, communication, teamwork and decision making. As we develop products from scratch to their complete validation, we require individuals who can lead and take ownership of their work while meeting tight project deadlines.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li> Responsible for research and analyzing customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data</li><li> Carrying out detailed mechanical design work including 3D modeling and mechanical design work based customer&rsquo;s requirements</li><li> Geometric Dimensioning &amp; Tolerance and 2D Drafting</li><li> Enclosure &amp; Assembly Design</li><li> Structural Analysis (FEA)</li><li> Cooling System Design (Air or Liquid Cooling)</li><li> System &amp; PCB Level Thermal Simulation</li><li> Thermal Budget Estimation</li><li> Research and Development</li><li> Procurement &amp; Communication with vendors</li><li> Project Management</li><li> Documentation &amp; Presentation</li><li> Fresh and 1-3 years of professional experience in the relevant field are encouraged to apply</li></ul>Software &amp; Tools:<ul><li>Must be proficient CAD software e.g. Solidworks, AutoCAD, Creo etc.</li><li>Candidate should know CAE software e.g. Flowsim, ANSYS etc.</li><li>MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel</li></ul>Work Location: In person
