Job Purpose
The Mechanical Designer will support the Project Engineer with delivering detailed layouts to achieve a workable design prototype or assembly. These designs are mainly related to Wireline and MWD type instruments or some downhole tools. The designer is responsible for completing detailed designs of all components within the final layout and provides assistance in building and testing the final product and assemblies.

Conduct site surveys for as-building existing HVAC and plumbing systems for input into drawings</li><li>
Conduct site inspections and prepares field reports for verification that installations meet design document requirements</li><li>
Integrate engineering elements into design for client review and approval</li><li>
Prepare scale drawings and contract documents for contractors</li><li>
Complete cost estimates</li><li>
Select equipment and prepare specifications</li><li>
Provide basic research to codes and/or jurisdictional requirements</li><li>
Perform engineering studies and prepare reports</li><li>
Complete all necessary engineering functions to produce quality construction documents</li><li>
