About This Role
To provide effective leadership and oversight of all welding and fabrication activities across all shifts, ensuring high-quality pipe‑fitting support for the refurbishment, maintenance, and repair of the processing plant and other surface infrastructure. The role is accountable for delivering these services safely, efficiently and in full compliance with operational standards, procedures and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Liaise with Contractors and/or Construction teams on mechanical tasks related to refurbishment, planned work, and other activities aligned with the overall work plan and schedule.</li><li>
Participate in all required training, development and performance improvement programs.</li><li>
Carry out machining tasks including fabrication of equipment parts, pipe threads and fittings, pump bushings, and sleeves, in line with drawings and all regulations of the Government of Ghana and AGBL.</li><li>
Conduct daily pre‑start inspections of tools and equipment before leaving the workshop and promptly report any abnormalities.</li><li>
Assess tools and equipment required for each task, prepare checklists, and ensure safe transport of all necessary items to job sites.</li><li>
Identify operational anomalies in machines, equipment, or cranes and escalate for corrective maintenance.</li><li>
Provide accurate technical data to assist the Maintenance Planner in closing out work orders within the maintenance management system.</li><li>
