</b></h2>The Host/Digital Producer will research, report, edit and write daily news and feature stories as part of the station's on-air and digital news efforts. The Host/Digital Producer will also serve as the primary All Things Considered Host. Supplemental commentary will be required when participating as an informed on-air source of content. The Host/Digital Producer will also participate in on-air membership drives and appear at fundraisers, station, and community events. The host/digital producer will create promotional and interstitial content as needed or required. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.

<b>Qualifications:
</b></h2><p><b>Required Education and/or Experience:
</b></p><ul><li><p>High School Diploma or equivalent;</p>
</li><li><p>(1) year experience as a producer, writer, journalis t or editor .
</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Preferred Education and/or Experience:
</b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor&rsquo;s in Journalism, Broadcast, Mass Communications or comparable media curriculum, <b>or </b>a comparable Associate's Degree with two (2) experience in Journalism or Broadcasting.
</p></li><li><p>Experience in reporting for audio or radio broadcasts;
</p></li><li><p>Experience in a news capacity at an NPR affiliate public radio station.

</b></h2><ul><li><p>Produces daily news stories and long-form feature reports as part of the station's newsroom and collaborative efforts;
</p></li><li><p>Create stories that require extensive research, analysis of interview content, investigative and verification work, and individualized interpretation based on audience factors;
</p></li><li><p>Supplemental commentary will be required when participating as an informed on-air source of content;

</p></li><li><p>Produce digital first stories for social media;
</p></li><li><p>Produce stories for statewide newscast;
</p></li><li><p>Participate in on-air membership drives;
