<p></p><p>The Festival Coordinator, Media Monitoring is charged with supporting the Sundance Institute Communications team through daily monitoring of all media coverage and preparing reports for the annual Sundance Film Festival.</p>
<p></p><p>Working closely under the direction of the Manager, Communications, the Festival Coordinator, Media Monitoring plays an important role within the Media Relations team, helping to ensure an accurate picture of storytelling related to the Festival.</p>
<p></p><p><b>This temporary position works full time from Monday, January 12, 2026 through Friday, February 27, 2026 and will be required to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends to meet key deadlines and respond to on-call needs. This is a fully remote position that does not require any onsite work duties.</b></p>

<ul><li><p>Working closely with the Press Information team member to monitor a significant amount of press coverage for all mentions of Sundance Film Festival using our media monitoring system, web, and social media searches.</p>

   You will spend time confirming that video, audio and metadata meets the necessary technical and quality requirements. These requirements are designed to ensure that the product is in tune with the client&rsquo;s expectations and ensure an excellent passenger experience.

   Testing media at the external IFE Hardware facility to ensure functionality before releasing to our clients.
  </li>

   Check the content for compliance measures regarding regional sensitivity and ensure the guidelines are adhered to rigorously without deviation.

   You will also spend time documenting the results of the above testing and communicate these results out to the necessary individuals; This often takes the form of filling in testing grids, opening trouble tickets, documenting when corrections have been verified, and summarizing results.

   The workflow is entirely digital. Files and documentation are handled across multiple shared network locations, web apps and cloud services. Therefore you must be organized and computer literate in order to manage your work within the systems.

   0 - 2 years experience in IFE or a related field (media, broadcasting etc).

   General knowledge of popular TV, movies and audio.

   High level of experience with MS Office &ndash; Word, Excel, Access.

   Proficiency in Google Sheets.
  </li>
  <li>
   High level of English grammar and spelling.
  </li>
  <li>
   High level of Arabic grammar and spelling.
  </li>
  <li>
   Excellent verbal and written communication skills &ndash; face to face, email, online meetings, and IM/Teams.
  </li>
  <li>
   Patience and an analytical approach to tasks and problem solving .

   Experience in video QC.
  </li>
  <li>
   Ability to handle tedious tasks.

   Ability to work independently without supervision.
