The primary purpose of the position is to provide direct on-site emergency service, preventive maintenance and installation support to end user customers while ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction. The position is also responsible for assisting in reaching Service Zone Revenue targets with work group sales responsibilities ranging from 1 to 2 MM dollars and to communicate product sales opportunities to Sales and Applications team&rsquo;s members as needed. Willingness to acquire and use sales skills is a must. Difficulties include extensive travel (50,000 -75,000 driving miles per year), working with contaminated products, exposure to X-rays and Magnetic fields, sick patients and the need to lift heavy equipment (over 50lbs). Typical work week approaches 50 hrs and on-call duty as needed by Zone Service manager.</div><br>

Our Field Service Engineer III (FSE) is responsible for the quality service of Spacelabs products and for customer satisfaction within the assigned territory. Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Install and relocate Spacelabs products in accordance with policies, procedures, and approved technical documents and publications.</li><li>

Perform all assigned preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, any updates/upgrades to device&rsquo;s software, and provide necessary records to hospitals and Regional Service Manager.</li><li>

Support sales efforts by assisting with equipment demonstrations and clinical evaluations.</li><li>
Assist sales with pre-sale configurations and consultation as required.</li><li>
Submit accurate and complete reports on time regarding expenses, timecards, and service call reports.</li><li>
Assist with &ldquo;on-the-job training&rdquo; of all regional new hires; responsible for mentoring new FSEs and field installation associates and supporting the business as needed.</li><li>
Attend all required technical training classes (remotely or at Spacelabs Snoqualmie location) to be within compliance for servicing Spacelabs devices.
