This role involves operating imaging equipment, monitoring patients&rsquo; vital signs, maintaining a sterile environment, and ensuring patient safety throughout the procedures.<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Key Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>
Prepare the cardiac catheterization lab for procedures, including setting up sterile fields and ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and functional.</li><li>
Assist cardiologists during invasive procedures by handling and operating specialized imaging equipment (e.g., fluoroscopy, X-ray, intravascular ultrasound).</li><li>

Cath Lab Technicians are Cardiovascular Technologists who work in our facilities and run tests on heart health. They assist with the insertion of catheters into the heart and are responsible for measuring and administering special fluids. 
What you will do in this role: 
 
 
<ul><li>Under the general supervision of the Cath Lab Supervisor and the CV Services Director, the Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist, in cooperation with the physicians and nursing personnel, assists with diagnostic and therapeutic invasive cardiology patient procedures in the catheterization labs.
</li><li>Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of radiographic imaging, patient physiologic monitoring and cardiac arrhythmias recognition.
</li><li>Complies with principles of sterile techniques.
</li><li>Collects and assembles data for database, outcome analysis and performance improvement.
</li><li>Responsible for carrying out any other activities assigned by the Cath Lab Supervisor or CV Services Director to ensure the department runs effectively and efficiently.

Job Summary and Qualifications</h5>
The Certified EP Lab Tech assists physicians in diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias and performs delegated duties in support of the Electrophysiology Lab.<h6 class="jobSectionHeader">
What qualifications you will need:</h6> 
Education:<ul><li> 
Associates degree or professional licensure required.</li></ul> 
Experience:<ul><li> 
2+ years of healthcare related experience in any of the following: EMT, Paramedic, Respiratory Therapist, ER Techs, Exercise Physiologists, Cardiac Tech, ARRT certified Radiologic Tech.</li></ul> 
Licensure/Certification:<ul><li> 
Must have the ability to obtain a RCES/RCIS certification through CCI or Heart Rhythm Society (HRS) within 2 years of hire date unless currently hold an active ARRT certification.</li></ul><ul><li> 
NH State licensure for Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy. Required within 30 days of hire if not currently held.</li></ul><ul><li> 
State licensure for Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy required.</li></ul><ul><li> 
BLS certified. If not BLS certified, must obtain BLS certification prior to completion of orientation, not to exceed 21 days from date of hire with Catholic Medical Center. Must maintain BLS throughout employment. 
</li></ul> 
<ul><li>ACLS certified. If not ACLS, certified must have the ability to obtain ACLS certification during orientation period and maintain during employment.
