Job Description Medical Assistant:
 </b></p><p>Position Responsibilities:</p><p>
1. Interview new patient efficiently and accurately and orders appropriate x-rays utilizing the EMR; This include taking vitals, updating review of systems, history of present Illness, documenting primary care Physician, medications, allergies and correctly documents the past medical, social and family history</p><p>
2. Prepares and administers injections</p><p>
3. Instructs patient with any follow up instructions needed for that visit.</p><p>
4. Demonstrates accountability for own actions by rendering patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures.</p><p>
5. Should be able to type minimum 40 wpm accurately</p><p>
6. Proficient in cleaning and caring for instruments and equipment</p><p>
7. Assists provider as directed with office procedures.</p><p>
8. Places any orders per the providers</p><p>
9. Maintains exam rooms including supplies and equipment for physicians.
</p><p>10. Confirms information in system has been completed including any procedures completed in office for that visit prior to the patient checking out</p><p>
11. Utilizes equipment appropriately, including upkeep and repairs.</p><p>
