Set client appointments and arrange facilitated telehealth appointments.</li><li>Provide supervision of the medication room, medication delivery, medication release, medication storage, medication disposal, and all associated elements.</li><li>Assist and monitor self-administration of medication of over-the-counter medication and if trained, injectable medication.</li><li>Monitor medication changes as directed by the physician and alter medication sets (transcription) needed.</li><li>Order medication and med room supplies weekly and pick up and record medications as they come in.</li><li>Offer medication education and review informed consent of psychotropic or opioid medication.</li><li>Destroy discontinued medication bi-weekly, in the presence of a witness (2 staff member).</li><li>Train and implement the CHC Handwashing program. Act as the CHC site handwashing champion. Observe and document handwashing compliance of employees.</li><li>Keep accurate and update to date records of client&rsquo;s medications and any changes made to medications.</li><li>Assist clients in understanding the benefits of taking their medications as directed.</li><li>Train and monitor staff on medication administration and documentation including specific medication issues as needed.</li><li>Train staff in the safe use and application of Narcan or Naloxone to reverse opioid overdose.</li><li>Utilize the AED and administer BLS in an emergency.</li><li>Collect, review, and read the results of Waived Tests; report results to the EMR and when applicable, the MEDIS communicable disease county reporting.</li><li>Report any medication error to the medical director and assure that all paperwork is completed according to agency policy.</li><li>Maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct and adhere strictly to confidentiality requirements.</li><li>Adhere to established standards of hygiene and universal infection control procedures in handling all samples and supplies.</li><li>Check and report client vitals accurately, with a positive &ldquo;bedside&rdquo; manner.</li><li>Provides educational group facilitation when requested, compliant with agency clinical oversight.</li><li>Transcribe Provider(s) orders accurately within the health record when required.</li><li>Comply with all agency policies and procedures.</li><li>Other tasks and duties as assigned by Cornerstone Healing Center supervisor.</li></ul><p><b>ESSENTIAL FUNCTION STATEMENT: </b>The previous duties are illustrative and not exhaustive. JOB SUMMARY</b></div><div></div><div><br>
Ensures all operations involving Company aircraft are in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations, Air Evac EMS Operations Manual, and all state and municipal regulations.
</div><div>The Base Pilot Supervisor (BPS) is the front-line supervisor for the Line Pilots assigned to the base. The BPS will work in conjunction with the Program Director to ensure the base operates in an efficient, safe, and economical manner.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
RESPONSIBILITIES</b></div><div></div><div><br>
Provides leadership and training to Base Line Pilots:</div><ul><li>
Develops and coordinates with the Regional Director of Flight Operations on the pilot duty schedules
</li><li>Coordinates with the Program Director on the flight planning activities and resources for mission support at the base</li><li>
Conducts local area orientations for all new hire pilots assigned to the base</li><li>
Coordinates the aviation activities associated with public relations events
</li><li>Reviews, corrects, and submits to the Regional Director of Flight Operations each base pilot&rsquo;s monthly flight/duty log in the required time frame</li><li>
Monitors pilots at the base and assists in the day-to-day management of flight and administrative issues</li><li>
Submits all assigned base pilot&rsquo;s payroll grids to the Regional Director of Flight Operations</li><li>
Operates the aircraft in a safe and efficient manner, with emphasis on compliance with the Rotorcraft Flight Manual</li><li>
Monitors forecast changes and current weather situations</li><li>
Conducts preflight of the aircraft prior to starting shift and/or accepting transports or flights. Preflight will be conducted utilizing the appropriate rotorcraft flight manual. Discrepancies noted during the pre-flight will be noted in the engineering log with a notification to maintenance of the discrepancy and what corrective action is being taken</li><li>
Reports to his/her shift rested and prepared for duty and stays current of weather and forecast changes</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
