  - Conduct initial visits and follow-up consultations with U.S. patients via secure virtual platforms.

  - Collaborate with U.S.-based providers, physical therapists, and staff to optimize treatment coordination.

  - Counsel patients on additional therapy options and wellness programs, including IV therapy, weight management, and WellCart supplements.

  - Educate patients on medication adherence, lifestyle modifications, and pain management strategies.

  - Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records in line with U.S. regulatory and clinic standards.

  - Ensure proper documentation of imaging orders, prescriptions, and interventional recommendations.

  - Participate in weekly provider meetings with the U.S. medical team to review cases, align on patient management strategies, and discuss clinical updates.

Groups Recover Together

As a Staff Provider, you will work with a small team of experienced providers, counselors, and support-staff to facilitate rapid-access intakes and enhanced medical support throughout the early weeks of treatment for Groups members. You will leverage telemedicine extensively in your work, so must be comfortable with technology and enthusiastic about the benefits of this exciting modality. You will work daily to overcome the barriers faced by members early in recovery and must adopt a &ldquo;member-first&rdquo; attitude that prioritizes keeping members safe and engaged in treatment at all costs. Flexibility, empathy, and commitment to member success are critical attributes for a successful Staff Provider. You will also provide longitudinal maintenance care to a panel of members (pending prescription cap capacity). Additionally, you will support your regular provider colleagues by providing coverage when medical questions or needs arise and these providers are unavailable.</div><div></div><div><br>
Your knowledge of the Groups Recovery System and the Groups culture will be critical for ensuring successful launches of Groups into new markets and new geographies within existing markets. Finally, you will be an integral partner of the medical leadership team in developing and deploying new medical service lines for our members.
</div>Responsibilities:
<ul><li><h6 class="jobSectionHeader">Adhere to all clinical policies and procedures as outlined in the GRS Manual</h6></li><li>
Intake medical duties</li></ul><ul><li>
Determine each patient&rsquo;s medical necessity and appropriateness for treatment pursuant to applicable clinical models, policies and procedures, and manuals (e.g., Recovery System Manual) as required by Recover Together. For patients admitted to treatment, prescribe buprenorphine/naloxone and, where appropriate, other approved medications to treat withdrawal symptoms, in a manner consistent with Recover Together&rsquo;s policies and procedures and Recovery System Manual.</li><li>
Maintain a regular schedule of &ldquo;intake shifts&rdquo;, and be available to provide rapid-access telemedicine intakes across multiple geographies, including new markets.</li><li>
Complete all intake documentation thoroughly, efficiently, and accurately.</li><li>
Be accountable for successful initiation of MAT during the early weeks of treatment (weeks 1-4, approximately).</li><li>
As needed, coordinate with community providers to support the successful transition of new members into Groups.</li><li>
Collaborate with other provider colleagues to transition the care of new members into regular maintenance groups.</li></ul><ul><li>
Escalate controversial situations to appropriate medical and/or clinical leadership;</li><li>
Maintenance medical duties<ul><li>
Maintain a panel of maintenance members and serve as their dedicated provider at monthly provider groups, per the guidelines of the Groups. Recovery System.</li><li>
Meet with each patient for whom the Physician prescribes buprenorphine at least once every thirty (30) days. This interaction occurs in a group setting, with individual conversations occurring before or after the group as needed. Such meetings may occur via telemedicine, to the extent Physician complies with all applicable federal and state laws, rules, and regulations and any requirements set forth by applicable payers (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid, commercial plans) governing telemedicine.</li><li>
Be available by phone and email to discuss each patient&rsquo;s medical issues in between monthly visits (e.g., dose changes; prescription troubleshooting, interprofessional communication and collaboration).</li><li>
When indicated and medically necessary, meet with patients for a pre-scheduled individual session to review medical progress. These visits are separate from the individual conversations that occur before and after regular shared medical visits. Such meetings may occur via telemedicine, to the extent Physician complies with all applicable federal and state laws, rules, and regulations and any requirements set forth by applicable payers (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid, commercial plans) governing telemedicine.</li></ul></li><li>
Medical Records<ul><li>
In compliance with HIPAA and other applicable federal or state laws, rules or regulations regarding medical records, maintain patient records in confidence and complete records in a timely fashion and in accordance with policies of the Company.</li></ul></li><li>
Miscellaneous medical duties<ul><li>
Provide regular coverage for &ldquo;makeup groups&rdquo; and makeup 1:1 sessions.</li><li>
Provide as needed cross-coverage for colleagues and answers to medical questions when other providers are unavailable.</li><li>
Participate in rotating &ldquo;on-call&rdquo; schedule of urgent prescription coverage for unavailable providers.</li><li>
Facilitate access to the State&rsquo;s prescription drug monitoring database so Groups staff can regularly monitor the Provider&rsquo;s patients&rsquo; access to controlled substances, per Recover Together&rsquo;s clinical protocols.</li></ul></li><li>
Administrative duties - approximately 15% per week<ul><li>
Completing high quality documentation, specifically all medical encounters accurately and thoroughly on the same business day as the encounter</li><li>
Sign all prescriptions on the <i>same</i> business day that they are generated</li><li>
Manage group and individual sessions in a timely manner so members and office staff stay on schedule</li><li>
Work with the office staff to maintain a clinical schedule that is mutually beneficial to provider and the office;</li><li>
Stay familiar with all Recover Together policies, procedures, reference materials, contracts, etc.</li><li>
Follow up on interprofessional communication</li><li><h6 class="jobSectionHeader">
Assist with onboarding, training, and support of new providers.</h6></li><li>
Work with the medical leadership team to pilot new initiatives to improve outcomes during early treatment,</li><li>

Qualifications:
<ul><li>Physician, Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with active state license in good standing</li><li>
Willing and able to become licensed in multiple other states where Groups operates or will operate soon (with support and reimbursement from Groups)</li><li>
Willingness and ability to become credentialed with all government and private health plans with whom Groups Recover Together is in network.</li><li>
Ability to see member in-person at several state locations</li><li>
At least 1 year of experience managing OUD with buprenorphine, preferably within the Groups Recovery System.</li><li>
At least 1 year experience working in a team-based-care setting with behavioral health providers (therapists, social workers, case managers, etc)</li><li>
At least 2 years experience working with a similar member population, preferably within primary care of behavioral health setting.</li><li>
Adequate internet connectivity to support telemedicine (if working from home)</li><li>
Access to reliable internet and telephone services, specifically 10M download and 5M upload package or higher, as well as a strong WiFi signal from your remote work location.</li><li>
Ability to demonstrate recovery-sensitive behaviors, including choice of language, attitudes and interactions with members and staff.</li><li>

</ul><div><b>Primary Responsibilities:</b></div>
<ul><li>Oversee urgent and primary care walk-ins and appointments of ages 2 and up as the sole provider.</li>
<li>Average volume of 35 patients per 12-hour day, or just under three patients per hour.</li>
<li>Perform minor office procedures including laceration repair, incision and drainage, toenail removal, and orthopedic splinting.</li>
<li>Perform physicals such as sports, DOT, pre-employment, and annuals.</li>
<li>Evaluate patients for workers&rsquo; compensation injuries.</li>
</ul><div><b>Qualifications and Experience:</b></div>
<ul><li>Doctorate (MD /DO) with Georgia medical license and DEA certification.</li>
<li>ABMS Board certification in internal medicine or family medicine or if board eligible then intention to become board certified within 1 year of onboarding.</li>
<li>Competent with common PC applications including Internet, Email and Microsoft Office as well as comfortable with EMR applications.</li>
