The Patient Reception Specialist is responsible for providing patient support and communication and facilitating an exceptional patient experience to build and reinforce satisfaction, and trust and drive organizational loyalty. This role works under the direction of the Mental Health Supervisor to provide essential care within a correctional residential setting. The Clinical Support Specialist role requires a collaborative professional dedicated to ongoing mental health training and the delivery of high-impact, structured support.

DUTIES
<ul><li>Lead psychoeducational classes. Interact with incarcerated individuals to instruct and orient to mental health residential units and programming.
</li><li>Provide verbal de-escalation for residential/programming participants. Provide input into individualized treatment plans. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, staff meetings, and informal consultations.
</li><li>Support individuals with daily living and therapeutic activities.

Preferred Qualifications: One year of corrections experience or experience working in the mental health field.
Other: Requires a valid driver&rsquo;s license to occasionally transport inmates. Transcripts required at time of appointment. Must pass a background check. Applicants accepting a job offer must pass the following pre-employment exams in this order: medical exam, and at a randomly announced time pass a drug test. Must successfully complete the fully paid Nebraska Corrections Training Program.
