Responsibilities:
<ul><li>The staffing coordinator performs functions that support nursing services to ensure optimal workflow regarding staffing, UKG scheduling, and attendance records.</li><li>
Prepares staffing and scheduling reports.</li><li>
Manages UKG scheduling and attendance records in coordination with nursing unit managers.</li><li>
Ensure PRN/float pool employees fulfil their requirements.</li><li>
Timely and accurately tracks cost center changes made to staff schedules, ensuring appropriateness of moves.</li><li>
Assists in obtaining replacement staff to ensure optimal staffing levels and appropriate utilization of staff resources.</li><li>
Timely and accurately update schedules to reflect call-ins.</li><li>
Works collaboratively with other staffing coordinators to ensure reporting and communication are accurate.</li><li>
Works collaboratively with the nursing director, manager, and supervisor on daily staffing plans, based on predictive scheduling system, unit census, acuity, and staff availability.</li><li>
