JOB DESCRIPTION</div>
<ul><li>Under the supervision of a Physician, Mid-Level Provider, and Practice Manager and/or Lead Medical Assistant:</li>
<li>Assisting the medical provider to be more efficient and productive</li>
<li>Entering data into patient&rsquo;s electronic record; scanning and indexing documents accurately to patient&rsquo;s electronic medical records</li>
<li>Transcribing the patient&rsquo;s history and physical exam</li>
<li>Documenting consultations</li>
<li>Greeting patients</li>
<li>Scheduling appointments</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned by Clinical Coordinator, Physician and Mid-Level provider</li>
</ul><div>JOB REQUIREMENTS</div>
<ul><li>High school diploma or GED certificate</li>
<li>Medical Scribe Certification preferred</li>
<li>Minimum of six months experience as a medical scribe</li>
<li>Pain Management Practice prior experience helpful</li>
<li>Cooperative work attitude towards co-employees, management, patients, visitors, and physicians</li>
</ul><div>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES</div>
<ul><li>Previous knowledge of Medical Terminology</li>
<li>Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Additional languages preferred.</li>
Ability to communicate in a professional manner<li>- able to counsel/teach customers, train co-workers, and positively contribute to marketing/public relations. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from patients, regulatory agencies, or members of the medical and business community.</li>
<li>Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office and EHR management</li>
</ul><div>HOURS AND WORKING CONDITIONS 
 
Our medical clinics are located in Florida and Texas and are open Monday through Friday. Work hours will typically be 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (may be subject to change with clinic case load). 
 
Hazards: Occasional contact with communicable diseases, electrical equipment, blood borne pathogens, etc. 
 
Personal protective equipment: Provided if necessary (gowns, gloves, masks, head cover)
