The Member Service Representative I is responsible for processing a wide variety of financial transactions (deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, to name a few) and opens new accounts. This individual is also responsible for enhancing members&rsquo; financial well-being by determining needs, providing financial education and cross selling members/potential members on CEFCU products and services.<br>

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<br>
<ul><li>Maintain organization viability through goal attainment set forth in member center and corporate balanced scorecards.</li><li>Promote a needs-based sales and service culture by living CEFCU's mission, vision, and values, and supporting member center and corporate balanced scorecards initiatives.</li><li>Supports other Member Centers in the region as needed for the purposes of cross training and to cover staffing shortages to meet business demands and maintain appropriate service levels.</li></ul><br>
This is a full-time position (minimum 37.5 hours for the week); availability to work on Saturdays is required.<br>

Required Qualifications:<br>

<li>Accurately record all information regarding Member relations internally and with external vendors</li>
<li>Research and resolve member issues through use of a computerized database.</li>
<li>Route phone calls, members, and guests to appropriate personnel to handle memberships promptly and efficiently with innovative &amp; consistent customer service.</li>
<li>Accurately record data from phone conversations and member visits into appropriate databases</li>
<li>Collect on past due accounts.</li>
</ul>Requirements:
<div><b>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</b></div>
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent (GED)</li>
<li>Prior customer service experience</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail</li>
<li>Ability to use own judgement to make decisions.</li>
<li>Ability to work without immediate supervision.</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication across different platforms (email, in-person, phone, social media, etc.)</li>
<li>Ability to focus on core information expressed by members and provide solutions, information, and guidance in a professional manner.</li>
<li>Integrity in handling financial transactions and information regarding member accounts</li>
<li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage a high volume of inquiries.</li>
</ul>
