The Member Services Support Specialist (Floater) functions as a Universal Associate and provides support for the Branch Operations areas, Call Center, and other departments as needed. Works toward the overall credit union goal of providing superior and quality service to members in a friendly, professional manner in person, by phone, and through all correspondence. 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>
Functions as a Universal Associate by processing member transactions, including, but not limited to, deposits, loan payments, cashier's checks, transfers, check cashing, withdrawals, and bank-to-bank wires.</li><li>
Proofs and verifies transactions. Examines documents for endorsements and negotiability and detects and resolves discrepancies.
</li><li>Is alert and aware to help prevent fraudulent activity or errors that would result in a loss to the credit union.</li><li>
Assists in the Call Center by answering member calls and performing transactions. Assists members with Online/Mobile banking questions and password resets.
</li><li>Assists and provides support with operations within other departments as needed.
</li><li>Understands and adheres to all security policies and procedures.</li><li>

Education
Minimum high school diploma. Business school or other business training is desired. 
Experience

Physical, mental and visual requirements
The responsibilities of this position require the ability to move freely from one area of the
building to another and to alternate between standing, sitting, and walking. Many of the duties are performed with a personal computer and require excellent visual, audio, and manual dexterity skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are needed. This position requires the ability to function in an environment of occasional high stress.

<div></div><div><div>Scope of Position: The Call Center Specialist is a consistent point of contact for those requesting services from the organization. Retrieving and returning daily calls along with providing service and resource information to neighbors calling for information are primary functions. This team member must consistently model the mission and values of St. Vincent de Paul.</div>
<div></div><div>Job Responsibilities:</div>
<div></div><div><ul><li>Timely, accurately and compassionately respond to assistance and information calls while completing appropriate documentation of requests from neighbors and informing neighbors of availability of services according to current operating mode</li></ul>
<ul><li>Retrieve calls from our English service line and refer those neighbors located within an active Conference footprint to their respective SVDP Conference</li></ul>
<ul><li>Participate as a member of the SVDP Social Services team as well as positively interact with Council members and staff.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Understand how to share access information for assistance from other community resources as appropriate to address needs presented by neighbors on the phone.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Lead/participate in special projects as required.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>
</div><div>Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent is required and further academic achievement is preferred; at least one year of call center experience strongly preferred; computer literacy is required; strong attention to detail and an ability to communicate well orally and in writing are required; experience and proficiency with Google docs, Excel and Microsoft Office a must; ability to work with and support a diverse team is required.</div>
