The Mental Health Clinician will provide direct clinical services to clients, including conducting assessments, creating treatment plans, providing therapy (individual, family, and group), case management, crisis intervention. Consult external community providers concerning treatment plans and for coordination of care, as required. 9. Maintain regular contact with other agencies and professionals regarding client progress in the therapeutic treatment milieu through phone calls, letters, and/or monthly reporting. 10. Refer clients to supportive services to supplement treatment and counseling, as needed.Telehealth The clinician must understand when virtual care is appropriate and when a patient is best served with in-person care. Clinicians must demonstrate how to effectively communicate with virtual patients, be able to evaluate signs and symptoms for a patient virtually, and be able to use best practices when delivering virtual care.Supervision Received Clinical Therapists are required to meet with their designated supervisor, on a monthly basis, to review treatment planning and coordination of care for patients. Specific treatment interventions are planned and implemented by the therapist, independently. Situations in which clients are not responding to treatment are to be reported to the Clinical Director and Supervisor. Unethical or illegal issues, and/or any perceived threat to clients or other individuals are to be reported to the Clinical Director immediately.
