Position Summary:</h4>
The Merch Manager reporting to the Store Manager is directly responsible for all Merchandising Operations within an assigned group of Departments in the store to Include but not limited to: Department Layouts/adjacencies to guidelines noted in the Daily Memo, Signing Standards, Product Features, Raceway and promo aisle setup, Markdowns, Freight Flow to the Salesfloor, Loss Prevention and Shrink Control, Maintenance/Detail Recovery of their assigned departments and Acts as the Manager on Duty overseeing the store in the absence of the Store Manager and Co-Manager. Responsible for meeting or exceeding budgeted sales daily and driving all company KPIs (Knows and Understands the Business within their areas and the store)</li><li>
Organizes and directs all daily activities within their assigned departments to include all Department Merchandising and Ad Sets, Merchandise Flow from the Stockroom, Operations Initiatives, Loss Prevention and Personnel Functions in partnership with the Store Manager.</li><li>
Training and Development of the Department Leads and Team Members within the assigned departments.</li><li>
Opens and Closes the Store per company direction when assigned.</li><li>
Assists the admin in employee selection and staffing within their assigned areas.</li><li>

Position Requirements:</h4><ul><li>
Ability to work varied hours/days, including 23 nights per week, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business.</li><li>
The ability to work at different locations in and around the city in which you live at the District Managers discretion. Transfers to other stores within the market may occur and will need to be flexible to those opportunities.</li><li>

Ability to perform basic math functions in order to operate the register, make change and conduct inventory.</li><li>
