Responsibilities

<li>Lead the team in delivering high-impact features and maintaining platform quality, guiding engineers through technical and execution decisions.</li>

Required Qualifications
<ul>
<li>7+ years of experience building and maintaining production mobile applications.</li>
<li>Deep expertise in Kotlin and Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP), with proven success designing and shipping shared business logic.</li>
<li>Strong background in Android development (Jetpack Compose, architecture patterns such as MVI, dependency injection).</li>
<li>Solid understanding of iOS development and experience collaborating with Swift engineers.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional efforts and drive execution across teams without direct authority.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills&mdash;able to translate technical strategy into clear, actionable team direction.</li>
<li>Proven success in Agile/SCRUM environments, balancing delivery speed with quality.</li>
<li>A hands-on builder with a team-first mindset and a passion for coaching and elevating others.</li>

What You Will Do
As a Senior Android Engineer on the Flagship mobile team, you will:<ul><li>Develop clean, well-tested native Android code to deliver functionality that meets business objectives.</li></ul>
&middot; Improve code structure and architecture in service of testability, observability, and maintainability. &middot; Work closely with partner teams - QA, UX, A11Y, Product - as needed<ul><li>Perform complex engineering tasks independently as well as collaboratively.</li><li>Manage complex cross-team coordination and dependencies.</li><li>Evaluate and communicate different engineering solutions and trade-offs.</li></ul>

What You Will Need<ul><li>5+ years of experience in software design &amp; development with 3+ years of experience in developing apps for android.</li><li>Experience developing in Kotlin.</li><li>Demonstrates broad and deep expertise in Java/Kotlin and frameworks. Designs, develops, and approves end-to-end functionality of a product line, platform, or infrastructure.</li><li>Communicates and coordinates with project team, partners, and stakeholders.</li><li>Demonstrates expertise in analysis and optimization of systems capacity, performance, and operational health.</li><li>Maintains deep technical knowledge within areas of expertise.</li><li>Stays current with new and evolving technologies via formal training and self-directed education.</li><li>Experience integrating with third party frameworks tools and SDKs, such as Retrofit, OKHttp, Moshi and Glide.</li><li>Excellent hands-on skills with Android application development tools, including Android Studio, Android SDK and ADT.</li></ul>
