Job description:Role - Mobile PhlebotomistLocation - Houston,TXShift Days - Monday to SaturdayJob Summary :The Phlebotomist is responsible for collecting blood and other specimen samples from patients in a safe, accurate, and professional manner.This role involves traveling to various facilities or patient homes to provide mobile phlebotomy services, ensuring that samples are collected in compliance with all relevant guidelines and procedures.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Sample Collection; Perform venipuncture and other specimen collection procedures efficiently and with minimal discomfort to patients.</li><li>Patient Interaction: Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a calm and professional demeanor to reassure patients and answer their questions.</li><li>Specimen Handling: Properly label, store, and transport specimens to the laboratory, ensuring integrity and viability are maintained throughout the process.</li><li>Safety and Compliance: Adhere strictly to safety protocols, infection control standards, and legal requirements, including maintaining confidentiality of patient information.</li><li>Documentation: Accurately complete and maintain all required documentation, including patient records and logs, ensuring all details are recorded correctly.</li><li>Equipment: Maintain phlebotomy equipment, ensuring it is clean, sanitized, and in good working order at all times.</li><li>Travel: Travel to various facilities or patient homes as required, demonstrating flexibility and reliability.</li><li>Continuous Learning: Stay informed about industry developments and advancements in phlebotomy techniques and technologies.</li><li>Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or GED required; completion of a certified phlebotomy program preferred.</li><li>Experience: Previous experience in phlebotomy or a related field is preferred.</li><li>Experience with mobile or on-site phlebotomy services is an advantage.</li><li>Licensure/Certification: Current certification as a Phlebotomy Technician from an accredited body (e.g., ASCP, NHA) is preferred.</li><li>Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.</li><li>Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, use hands to handle equipment, and occasionally lift or move objects.</li><li>Working Conditions: Must be willing to travel extensively to different locations as part of the mobile phlebotomy services.</li><li>Be prepared to work varied hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed.</li><li>Candidate need to work in Field/Clinic, based on the companies requirement.</li></ul>Join us in providing exceptional patient care as a Mobile Phlebotomist, where your skills will make a significant impact on the health and well-being of our community.This role is vital in delivering high-quality laboratory services directly to patients in their homes or community settings. The candidate will travel to the patient's location for appointments.</li><li>
Paid per appointment/event, this is not an hourly or salary-paid position.</li><li>
Bi-Weekly Pay.</li><li>
Some travel expenses are covered depending on the location of the appointment.</li></ul><div> 

Responsibilities:</div><ul><li>
Traveling to specified locations to obtain samples above as required.</li><li>
Disinfecting extraction sites using alcohol swabs.</li><li>
Gathering mandatory information from patients and verifying their identities.</li><li>
Obtaining vitals, blood, urine, EKGs, and medical history.</li><li>
Accurately labeling all samples.</li><li>
Maintaining accurate patient records, which include detailing any medical issues experienced by patients during venipuncture procedures that may affect the accuracy of test results.</li></ul><div> 

Minimum Requirements:</div><ul><li>
Proven experienced phlebotomist.</li><li>
Valid driver's license.</li><li>
Valid Auto Insurance.</li><li>
Excellent customer service &amp; communication skills.</li><li>

Professional, responsible, and self-starter with excellent attention to detail and good penmanship.</li><li>
