Board Certified Mohs Surgeon &ndash; Full or Part-timeOur multi-specialty group practice is seeking an exceptional board certified Mohs surgeon to support our newest dermatology clinic in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This clinic is already being overwhelmed with referrals for Mohs surgery (as well as general dermatology services) due to the area&rsquo;s severe shortage of dermatologists and corresponding lengthy wait times. With such pent-up demand, the efforts of our referral coordinators, streamlined workflows and our excellent insurance contracts, the chosen provider will benefit from a continually full schedule and outstanding income potential.Travel:In addition to local talent, this position is perfect for Mohs surgeons living in other areas who are available to travel to Albuquerque to work one or more days per week to perform surgeries. In such a case, all airfare, hotel, rental car and meal costs would be paid by the medical group. The Mohs Surgeon is primarily responsible for providing specialized dermatologic and surgical patient care services, including assessing, diagnosing, treating, and educating patients with skin cancers and complex dermatologic conditions. The Mohs Surgeon works closely with dermatologists and other clinicians in a team‑based approach to patient care. This position is highly visible and is always responsible for creating a positive impression with patients, administration, and others encountered both in person and on the phone.
