We are seeking a research scientist to join our projects on the molecular and developmental biology of protozoan pathogens, and on the nature of human immunity to these pathogens. The project uses a combination of complementary genetic, molecular, immunological, and informatic methods, and the scientist will have direct responsibility for research activities in the lab and will also collaborate with the principal investigator to write manuscripts/grant proposals. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in cellular and molecular biology and immunology, especially with respect to protozoan pathogens, and expertise in basic cell, molecular biological, and immunological techniques.   1.Lead Cell &amp; Molecular Biology department.
 </p>
 <p>
  2.Design and execute recombinant antigen generation in E.Coli, Insect and mammalian cells for diagnostic kits.
 </p>
 <p>
  3.Generate monoclonal antibodies against antigens by Hybridoma / Phage display methods
 </p>
 <p>
  4.Making recombinant antibodies &ndash; Isolate genes from Hybridoma and expressing them in Mammalian cells.
 </p>

   Job Specifications:

 </p>
 <ol>
  <li>
   M.Sc / PhD ( Life Sciences )
  </li>
  <li>
   10 &ndash; 15 years in Recombinant proteins and Monoclonal Antibody generation.
  </li>
  <li>
   Expertise in Molecular Biology, Cell culture and Purification.
  </li>
  <li>
   Knowledge about diagnostics assays CLIA, Rapid and ELISA would be an added advantage.
  </li>
