Experienced motor mechanic will have minimum of 3 years in the disassembly, repair, and reassembly of electric motor equipment. Person in this position will have a minimum of 7-10 years experience in the electric motor industry. Qualified winder will have experience with both random and form windings, both low and high voltage. He/she will also be able to redesign the electrical characteristics of motors for greater efficiency. Person will have experience with random/mush wound coils, form wound coils, brake coils, low/medium/high voltage A/C stators and rotors. Either position must be willing to train others in the field and work overtime. Technical degree helpful, but not required. Must have a high school diploma or GED.
 
Pay will be commensurate with experience between the range of $25 to $35 per hour. Signing and service bonus is available at 60 days, 6 months and 1 year after successful completion of reviews. Job Summary:

The main duties of the Mechanic position include performing a full range of repair and modification work on heavy equipment vehicles. This is a full-time position that requires overtime through peak season, reports to the Territory Manager, and has no supervisory responsibility.

Primary Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Perform a full range of repair and modification work on heavy equipment vehicles to include, but not limited to light-duty, heavy-duty, and Redi-Mix trucks, backhoes, loaders, and miscellaneous equipment.</li>
<li>Repair tires, wheels, wheel bearings, idler wheels, idler bearings, and oil seals.</li>
<li>Replaces suspension arms, torsion bars, stabilizer bars, etc.</li>
<li>Repair hydraulic and air brake systems.</li>
<li>Determine the nature and extent of repairs required.</li>
<li>Perform major and minor repairs on engines, power transmissions, transfers, and related electrical, fuel, and hydraulic components.</li>
<li>Use technical manuals and other publications to identify and order repair parts.</li>
<li>Operate and inspect machines or equipment to diagnose defects.</li>
<li>Examine parts for damage or excessive wear, using testing equipment such as compression testers, computer software tools, test meters, micrometers, gauges, and overall strong diagnostic skills.</li>
<li>Test overhauled equipment to ensure operating efficiency before being released to the field.
</li><li>Complete welding, run overhead crane, lifts, and jacks.</li>
<li>Willingness to perform duties outside the normal scope of work (i.e. work in poor weather conditions or outside normal hours).</li></ul>
