Essential Duties and Responsibilities</b></div></div><br>
<div><ul><li>
Provide expert engineering, sustainment, and enhancement support for VA E&amp;E products, including VistA REE during its operational period</li><li>
Support Veteran Experience Services Eligibility and Enrollment (VESEE) sustainment and enhancement for VA E&amp;E products, including VistA RE&amp;E</li><li>
Develop and maintain components within the Legacy Technology Stack, including MUMPS (VistA)</li><li>
Operate in a delivery environment with sprint-based execution, reporting progress, issues, metrics, and risks</li><li>
Design, develop, and sustain MUMPS routines and VistA RE&amp;E packages</li><li>
Refeactor legacy code to improve reliability, performance, and maintainability</li><li>
Analyze and document existing VistA REE workflows (registration, eligibility, enrollment) to inform migration and integration with the Enterprise System (ES)</li><li>
Implement integration bridges between VistA REE and ES using HL7, RPCs</li><li>
Develop data extraction, normalization, and reconciliation utilities to migrate RE&amp;E data into ES with full lineage and auditability</li><li>
Perform ongoing maintenance, including bug fixes, performance tuning, routine maintenance, and documentation upkeep</li><li>
Track, analyze, and resolve Tier 2/3 user-reported issues with minimal disruption</li><li>
Support monitoring activities and proactively identify issues and contribute to optimization</li><li>
Support secure operations and compliance activities (FedRAMP, FISMA, IRS 1075, HIPAA)</li><li>
Assist with patching and remediation</li><li>
Implement enhancements and upgrades based on priorities, feedback, and refinements</li><li>
Support integration/configuration coordination to maintain interoperability with other systems</li></ul></div><br>

Required Skills and Experience</b></div></div><br>
<div><ul><li>
MUMPS (VistA) development experience supporting legacy applications</li><li>
Hands-on production support experience with triage, RCA, validation, Tier 2/3 resolution</li><li>
An ability to support maintenance work and maintain documentation</li><li>
An ability to work within sprint cadence and provide sprint reporting inputs (status, issues, metrics, and risks)</li></ul></div><br>

Professional Certifications</b></div><div> Experience supporting VA VistA RE&amp;E or E&amp;E capabilities<br>
Familiarity with regulated federal environments and compliance expectations</div></div><br>
