Multi Craft Maintenance is responsible for the general upkeep of the plant. This position is responsible for the maintenance of electrical, pipes, boilers, presses, mills, mixers, extruders, and overall care of the plant.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

<li>Maintain machines and plant equipment.
<ul><li>Including but not limited to: molds, presses, mills, boilers, fans, and motors.</li>

Summary - Troubleshoot and repair all types of machinery and equipment. Perform preventive maintenance work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities to which competency will be measured include the following:

<li>Perform maintenance work on all plant equipment, including minor electrical repairs; maintain machines, maintain all assembly equipment, heating systems, compressors, plumbing, etc.</li>
<li>Have the required knowledge of various trade fundamentals sufficient to deal with all general machine and plant repairs.</li>
<li>Operate and use of various types of power tools, including but not limited to hand tools, welders, torches and other various types of maintenance shop machinery.</li>

Successful candidates will have continuous and current experience as an Insulator in a petrochemical, industrial, or manufacturing environment. NCCER certification for Insulator is preferred, but not required.
 
Insulator Major Duties and Responsibilities: 
<ul>
<li>Read blueprints and select required insulation material</li>
<li>Brush adhesives on or attach metal adhesive backed pins to surfaces as necessary to facilitate the application of insulation material</li>
<li>Other forms of fastening may involve staples, tape, or wire bands</li>
<li>Measure and cut insulation material to specified size and shape for covering flat or round surfaces, using tape measure, knife, or scissors</li>
<li>Fit, wrap, or attach required insulation material around or to structure, following blueprint specifications</li>
<li>Cover or seal insulation with preformed plastic covers, canvas strips, sealant, or tape to secure insulation to the structure according to type of insulation used and structure covered.</li>
<li>May be required to screw on sheet metal around insulated pipes to protect the insulation from weather conditions or physical abuse</li>
</ul>
Physical Demands: 
May involve work both indoors and outdoors, as well as in extreme hot or cold weather conditions. May spend most of the work day standing on feet, and require bending, stooping, and/or squatting.
