<p><b>Purpose:</b></p><p>Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization&rsquo;s network security architecture, ensuring robust protection against cyber threats while optimizing performance and scalability.</p><p><b>Expected Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Maintain and enhance the client network and security architecture.</li><li>Analyze, recommend, and implement new security protocols to mitigate threats and resolve malfunctions.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve security issues, including hardware and network vulnerabilities.</li><li>Design network security solutions, including cloud integration and segmentation strategies.</li><li>Monitor and analyze network security products and report findings to management.</li><li>Guide and mentor team members in network security and IT.</li><li>Implement and manage firewall rules and policies on enterprise firewalls.</li></ul><p><b>Preferred Skills &amp; General Experience</b></p><ul><li>Configuring and managing firewalls (FortiGate,Palo Alto, Cisco ASA) in complex network environments</li><li>Securing VPNs and branch connectivity to protect client data transmissions.</li><li>Implementing network segmentation strategies to safeguard sensitive data and</li><li>Implementing cybersecurity standards</li><li>Hands-on experience in vulnerability management and threat detection using tools like Nessus, Qualys, or SIEM solutions.</li><li>Proficiency in network security monitoring systems to ensure all service availability.</li><li>Hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM solutions (such as FortiSIEM or similar system), vulnerability scanners) and Experience with SIEM solutions, IDS, and vulnerability</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to develop and implement security solutions.</li><li>Proficiency in scripting/programming for security automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash).</li><li>Strong communication and documentation skills for policy development and compliancenreporting.</li><li>Expertise in cloud security, zero-trust architecture, and AI-driven threat intelligence.</li><li>Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, security governance, and risknmanagement frameworks and Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Experience in government cloud security (e.g., AWS/Azure for public sector)</li></ul><p><b>Certifications</b></p><ul><li>Security certifications with a focus on networking tools.</li></ul><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Master&rsquo;s in Cybersecurity/Computer Science/InfoSec with 7+ yrs experience or</li><li>Bachelors in same fields with 10 yrs exp.</li></ul><p><b>Others attributes:</b></p><ul><li>Candidate having Arabic knowledge will be preferred</li><li>Proficiency in English is required for cybersecurity documentation and reporting</li></ul><p>Job Type: Full-time</p><p>Pay: RO1,500.000 - RO2,200.000 per month</p><p>Application Question(s):</p><ul><li>Have you completed a Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity/Computer Science/InfoSec?</li><li>Have you completed a Master's Degree in Cybersecurity/Computer Science/InfoSec?</li><li>How many years of work experience do you have in Network Security?</li><li>What is your expected salary in OMR per month?</li></ul>
