POSITION SUMMARY:
This position will provide key stakeholders, at all levels, with reports and business analysis of required data, consistent with the long-term goals and strategy set by the Department of Neurology and the hospital by performing routine daily or monthly tasks related to the financial operation of the Department and analyses to determine present and future financial performance. Under direction of the Finance Manager and Administrative Director, this position assists the department management in identifying, establishing, implementing, and monitoring business and financial related processes that contribute to the successful operations of BMC. The Business Analyst provides direct support on high profile projects designed to reinforce the hospital&rsquo;s strategic goals and increase operational efficiencies. In performing this role, the Business Analyst gathers and analyses data; interprets results using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation via statistical analysis to complex data mining, working directly with client areas and project and business leaders to identify analytical requirements.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties include, but are not limited to:<ul>
<li>
At the request of and under the direction of the Financial Manger or Administrative Director, analyzes financial information detailing revenue, and expenses, and other reports from both BMC and BU systems to summarize current and projected financial position of the clinical practices. Ensures consistency and accuracy of assigned reporting tasks</li>
<li>Identifies opportunities for improvement, develop solutions and documents processes requiring change, or where new processes need to be developed.</li>
<li>Interacts with client areas and providers for the purpose of promoting the clinical quality improvement agenda.</li>
<li>Recommends financial reporting system changes that will enable clinical areas to improve their use of the systems/reports.</li>
<li>Performs Accounts Payable functions for the Department in both the BU and BMC systems, including:</li>
</ul><ul><li>Process and track faculty/staff/fellow/resident reimbursements, invoices, PO.</li>
<li>Process and track Weymouth related invoices and payments.</li>
<li>Deposit department checks; complete Cash Log entries.</li>
<li>Prepare monthly AP reports for BMC - AMEX, Cashlog deposits, BRM revenue for Braintree Encompass.</li>
<li>Performs Neurology provider time away system and on-call system operation and maintenance functions, including:</li>
<li>Inpatient Schedules data entry into Ximble, BMC Intranet</li>
<li>Process faculty leave requests - PTO, non-PTO, sick.</li>
<li>Keep inpatient schedules current, coordinate swaps, and ensure accuracy for Call Center/clinic visibility.</li>
<li>Update Ximble with inpatient coverage schedules and time-off requests.</li>
<li>Update Neurology on-call schedule on intranet.</li>
<li>Attends meetings and performs ad hoc duties as assigned by either the Finance Manager or Administrative Director for Neurology</li>
<li>Engages in requested and on-going training and knowledge expansion to be able perform selected duties of the Neurology Finance Manager in their absence or at their direction, including the maintenance and updating of operational and financial dashboard routinely prepared by the Department.</li>

EDUCATION
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree (or equivalent combination of formal education and experience) is required.
REQUIREMENTS
At least one year experience in finance, accounting, medical billing or related field is required.

Compensation Range:

Job Summary
We are seeking a full-time, 36-hour Clinic/Practice Assistant to support our Neurology practice in Dover. This position follows a consistent schedule of to Monday through Thursday 7:30am-5:00pm. 
 
The ideal candidate brings prior experience in health administration or related roles and demonstrates strong customer service skills with a patient-centered mindset. They have a genuine interest in healthcare, whether through current work experience or plans to pursue further education in the field. The candidate is computer savvy, comfortable learning new systems, and able to navigate technology efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience with Epic is helpful and considered a strong asset, as it supports seamless coordination and effective workflow within the healthcare setting.

<div>Eagle Telemedicine is seeking an accomplished, vascular-trained Neurologist to serve as Chief of Neurology. This leadership role will guide the strategic direction and clinical excellence of our nationwide Tele-Neurology programs, including both General Neurology and Acute Stroke services. The Department of Neurology at Baylor College of Medicine is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support and advance the financial performance of our clinical, research, and education missions. As a key member of the Department&rsquo;s Business Office, this role is responsible for financial forecasting, funding support, supplemental payments, budget requests, and related financial operations. The Senior Financial Analyst reports to the Senior Business Operations Manager and partners closely with more than 80 faculty physicians and scientists to provide financial insight, analysis, and operational support. 
The Department of Neurology provides personalized care for patients with neurological disease, trains medical students and residents in clinical care and research, conducts research to advance the science of neurology, and develops new therapies to improve patient outcomes. 
This position is 100% onsite and may be eligible for up to 2 days remote per week after six months of employment.</div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
Job Duties</h2></div><div><ul><li>
Participate in the annual budget development process, including financial modeling, data input, and analytical review. (20%)</li><li>
