Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>
Provide high-quality care for medical and surgical patients in a Level 3 trauma community hospital with a 15-bed census, 5-bed ICU, and 22 inpatient psychiatry beds.</li><li>
Serve a diverse patient population with a low-volume ED and high acuity, delivering specialty services in cardiology, gastroenterology, neurology, and other areas.</li><li>
Manage critical and emergent cases, including stroke patients. The hospital is a designated primary receiving stroke center and has a geriatric-accredited emergency department.</li><li>
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including cardiology, gastroenterology, neurology, and psychiatry specialists, to provide comprehensive care.</li><li>
Work in a hospital with a 10-bed Department of Correction (DOC) unit, one of only three in southern New York, offering specialized care for incarcerated individuals.</li><li>
Participate in bi-monthly team meetings to foster a supportive and flexible work culture.</li></ul><p><b>
