NBC News NOW is seeking a talented associate producer who thrives in a breaking news, fast-paced and deadline-driven environment for Hallie Jackson NOW.</p><p>
We are looking for someone who writes compelling copy, has a strong visual sensibility, loves collaborating on a team, and thrives in a fast-paced, quickly changing and deadline driven environment.<br>

Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>
Editing video - including day-of-air packages - and graphic elements for a live show on a tight deadline</li><li>
Collaborating with producers and correspondents to research, write and produce strong editorial copy with speed and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>
Working closely with EP, producers, correspondents, and anchors</li><li>
Pitch the most relevant, timely and compelling ideas for day-of and future segments.</li><li>
Quality check all video content.</li><li>
Keep senior producers and the EP up to date with daily news development of assigned stories.</li></ul><br>

Qualifications</b><br>
<ul><li>
You&rsquo;ve been working in broadcast, streaming or cable news for 2+ years &ndash; preferably working on live daily shows or in and around a control room.</li><li>
You&rsquo;re comfortable editing digital video and you want to get even better at it.</li><li>
You want a career in journalism and stay up on the news across multiple subject areas.</li><li>
You&rsquo;re able to work calmly under intense deadline to finish a project.</li><li>
You check and double check your work to ensure accuracy.</li><li>
You have a Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience.</li><li>
You are willing to work in New York, New York from 11a-7p, Monday-Friday.</li></ul><p><br>
