 Our newsletters are at the core of what we do, as they are our most direct connection to our audience. With a rapidly growing list of 400,000 subscribers (60,00 of which pay for our premium content) we are hiring for a Newsletter Editor to oversee the production of our daily and weekly newsletters.

 We are seeking an experienced editor to conceive and implement a creative vision for how our newsletters can best serve our subscribers, and can uplift the original reporting, opinion, and video we produce daily. This role is perfect for someone who loves experimenting with content formats and thinking strategically about audience engagement, and who cares deeply about the future of our democracy.

 This role will be part of our News team, working closely with Democracy Docket editors and reporters to help ensure our newsletters are consistently compelling, timely, accurate, and aligned with our brand. It will also work cross functionally to align newsletter production with growth and engagement goals.

  Key Responsibilities

   Guide newsletter strategy and production for fast-growing, pro-democracy news outlet focused on voting, elections, and the courts.

   Work closely with reporters and editors to oversee our daily newsletter and two weekly newsletters (7 sends a week), including some writing.

   Produce at least 4 additional monthly sends to highlight our best content and capture high-attention moments, ensuring they align with audience expectations and further company goals

   Closely monitor Democracy Docket news coverage, as well as social and video, to ensure newsletters reflect our latest reporting and other content.

COURIER Texas is hiring for a Newsletter Editor who will help grow our flagship email product for the Houston region&mdash;ensuring it delivers an approachable blend of local news, political coverage, and lifestyle stories&mdash;while also developing their own branded product, all in service of driving subscriber growth and long-term engagement. The right person brings a deep understanding of the impact of local reporting and storytelling&mdash;someone who knows which issues matter most, and how to tell those stories in ways that move people to act.</p><p></p><p><br>
This person will be responsible for:</p>

This is a vital role in our communication strategy; you will be the &quot;voice&quot; that connects our supporters to the life-changing work happening on the ground.</p><p>We aren't looking for someone to reinvent our brand. We need a writer who can study our established format, tone, and style and replicate it seamlessly. About the Role</b></p><p>
Britannica is looking for an Editor to help launch and run a new daily newsletter debuting later this year. This role owns the full editorial operation of the brand &mdash; from calendar planning through publication.</p><p>
The Editor will work closely with a broader team of newsletter editors while taking day-to-day responsibility for the execution, quality, and growth of their title. The ideal candidate brings strong editorial judgment, sharp writing and editing skills, and experience managing freelance contributors to maintain a consistent, high-quality publishing cadence.<br>

Requirements</b><br>
