WHIZ is a Marquee Broadcasting station that&rsquo;s located just an hour east of Columbus, Ohio and just over two hours from Pittsburgh and Cleveland. We&rsquo;re a small market training ground for news talent looking to hone their skills writing, reporting, and story telling.

We cross train everyone to be able to anchor on one of our newscasts that include an hour-long morning show that starts at 6 am, 5 pm, 6 pm, and 11 pm shows during the week and an 11 pm on Saturday.

Essential Qualifications for this position include:

This is an in-office work opportunity that operates most days out of the Indiana Statehouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. State Affairs offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package to employees.

The annual salary range for this role as it is posted is $60,000 to $70,000 for candidates working from Indianapolis, Indiana. The final job level and annual salary will be determined based on the education, qualification, knowledge, skills, ability, and experience of the final candidate(s), and calibrated against relevant market data and internal team equity. The estimated base salary range for this role is between $70,000 and $80,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as transferable skills, work experience, business needs, market demands and conditions, including geographic location where the work will be performed, and other factors permitted by law.
