POSITION SUMMARY</b><br>
Mecklenburg County Park &amp; Recreation Department is excited to add a Nurse to support our programming across Park and Recreation (including our Therapeutic &amp; Inclusive Recreation Services (TIRS) Division). This temporary position will work with internal and external customers on medication administration, illness management and education and managing other medical needs for our Park &amp; Recreation program participants. The incumbent will also provide support and education/training for staff on any medical needs, medication administration and care plans. This position will work on a PRN basis with schedule dependent on business and care needs. We anticipate the selected candidates will work approximately 20 hours per week, but this could vary.</p><p><b><i>

</p><p></p><p>The Nurse Technician is responsible for assisting in the delivery of both direct and indirect nursing care under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. The Nurse Tech program is designed to help the student nurse grow and develop as a true nursing professional.
