Schedule: Monday - Friday, on-call weekends
Scheduler Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Schedule nursing staff in coordination with Director of Nursing or designee to meet the needs of the patients and facility.</li><li>
Communicate the staffing schedule to staff on a timely basis.</li><li>
Fill any vacant shifts through coordination with staff.</li><li>
Ensuring schedules are up to date for Direct Care Staff.</li><li>
Preparing and posting daily assignment sheets.</li><li>
Daily attendance tracking.</li><li>
Other duties as needed.</li></ul>

Scheduler Requirements:<ul><li>
Minimum one year experience with scheduling staff, preferably in a medical setting.</li><li>
Long Term Care experience is preferred.</li><li>
Organized, detail-oriented, computer proficiency, and being able to multi-task.</li><li>
Successful completion of a training and competency evaluation program required.</li><li>
Completion of orientation required by company policy.</li><li>
Health screening and TB test (if required) within two weeks of employment.</li><li>
Mandatory drug test within 90 days of hire.</li><li>
Must be free of criminal activity proven by a criminal background check.</li><li>
Become familiar with and comply to all local, state, and federal regulations relating to the job.</li><li>
Show within three (3) days of hire satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment.</li></ul>

Nursing Scheduler
 The Nursing Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and coordinating nursing staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage in a long-term care setting. This role supports quality resident care by balancing staffing requirements, regulatory compliance, and employee availability while serving as a key resource for nursing leadership and staff.
 Key Responsibilities

<li>Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs)</li>
<li>Ensure staffing levels meet regulatory requirements, facility policies, and resident care needs</li>
<li>Manage schedule changes related to call-offs, PTO, leaves of absence, and shift trades</li>
<li>Coordinate staffing coverage, including use of overtime, float staff</li>

Required Qualifications

<li>High school diploma or equivalent</li>
<li>Previous experience in staffing, scheduling, or healthcare administration</li>
<li>Experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting strongly preferred</li>
<li>Strong understanding of staffing requirements and shift coverage needs</li>
<li>Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills</li>
<li>Ability to manage frequent interruptions and last-minute staffing changes</li>
</ul>
Preferred Qualifications

<li>Familiarity with electronic scheduling systems and payroll timekeeping software</li>
