 Job Summary:
 
 The incumbent goal is to work closely with the Medical Center team to develop and implement occupational health programs, conduct medical examinations &amp; provide medical guidance to management on occupational health matters.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Main Responsibilities &amp; Tasks
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Develop implement and evaluate occupational health programs to prevent work-related illnesses &amp; injuries
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and provide recommendations to management on occupational health matters
 </li>
 <li>
 Design and implement health surveillance programs to monitor the health status of workers exposed to occupational hazards
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct thorough medical examinations and assessments for employees including pre-employment medical &amp; periodic health checks
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide expert medical guidance to management on employee fitness for work, workplace accommodations and return-to-work strategies
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage occupational-related medical cases ensuring timely and effective treatment
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop and implement health promotion programs to educate employees on healthy lifestyle choices &amp; disease prevention strategies
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with the Medical Center team to develop and distribute health education materials promoting a culture of wellness
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide one-on-one health coaching and counseling services to employees, addressing their specific health concerns &amp; goals, and empowering them to make informed decisions about their well-being
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide specialist consultative medical advice to staff regarding occupational medicine related conditions or issues
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist the Company's Occupational Health Safety Team with expert medical advice for risk assessments, reasonable adjustments and the choice &amp; use of PPE
 </li>
 <li>
 Keep line managers, department heads, and other stakeholders informed about updates, trends &amp; best practices in Occupational Medicine that may impact on workplace health, safety, and productivity
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards and best practices for occupational health
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop implement and evaluate quality assurance processes to ensure high-quality medical care &amp; services
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with medical protocols &amp; guidelines
 </li>
 <li>

 Qualifications (e.g., Education)

 <li>
 Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with specialization in Occupational Medicine (Board-certified or Master's degree in Occupational Health and Industrial Medicine)
 </li>
 <li>
 Valid license to practice as an Occupational Medicine Specialist in Qatar, including completion of the Qatari evaluation as a specialist and Dataflow verification for foreign specialists
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Work Experience (e.g., Number of years and field / role)
 
 
 
 Minimum 7-8 years of experience in Occupational Medicine or a related field, preferably in the medical sector, with at least 5-6 years of experience in the GCC region in a similar or equivalent role within a Commercial or Industrial Occupational Health Department
