</div><div>The Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing occupational therapy evaluation and treatment of patients, including the development of plan of care, and ongoing treatment with patients through all phases of occupational therapy for a wide range of populations. Ignace Indian Health Center &ndash; a federally funded community health center that serves an underserved, minority population. As such, the position requires frequent interaction and collaboration with the medical team and staff at the Gerald L. Ignace Indian Health Center.</div>
Duties and Responsibilities
<div>1. Provide evaluation and treatment of incoming patients to determine appropriate occupational treatment programs, including assessment, treatment planning, goal writing, collaboration and education with caregivers, implementation of evidence-based and strengths-based intervention, and appropriate recommendations. 
 
2. Assist in marketing of Ignace OT services including communication with referral sources to expand existing business and cultivate new business. Maintain current knowledge of occupational therapist roles and continuing trends in the industry.
